(Heart told the RNC not to use Barracuda for Sarah Palin)
I love that song and the group. How very sad that they are for the anti-God leftists. It seems that most of the hollywood actors/actresses and singers are that way. So sad for their souls.

Wasn't Van Halen mad at him also for using "Right Now" after introducing Palin?
Didn't we all learn in kindergarten to ask for something before we took it, and play nice.
@Pagnostic
Since Heart didn't jump at the opportunity to let their intellectual property become associated with someone they disagreement, KarateMom called them Anti-God, in spite of the event in question not relating to God or spirituality whatsoever. Maybe not SCREAMING fundie, but fundie, nevertheless.
hmmm.
The Christian thing to do would be to ask permission before using something that isn't yours...
...and I am sure all these people who are whining at RR would be just fine if they had written a song, and Obama was using it.
Yes, because a band that dosen't want their song used for something that supports an ideaology that they don't agree with must by default, anti-god. A band should in no way have the right to choose how they want the music they wrote and own the rights too , to be used.
Yet if it were a band turning down a request for use in a DNC function you fucks would be cheering them on.
"So sad for their souls"
Unlike you, they HAVE soul. Being big fans and friends of Zeppelin, they said that Achilles Last Stand inspired it, and Led Zeppelin were no friends of you vulture fundies either.
I love how they automatically assume that if someone doesn't say yes to them, they're for the "other" side. If you're not with us, you're against us. The same tired attitude of every tyrant throughout history.
Heart didn't want their music to be political and now they're "anti-God leftists"?
God, everything is in black and fucking white to RR.
I thought Heart was a secular band and therefore evil?

Most artist do not want ignorant dickheads representing themselves with their art. But that aside, if she would have asked, they might have let her.

So sad for your child.
