It absolutely is. The writers attempt to portray Judas Iscariot as more decent than he actually was. Judas most certainly is in hell. Jesus said about Judas, “The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born”, implying that Judas would burn in hell for eternity.

This is solidified by the fact that “Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve.” Judas didn't beg for repentance, but instead killed himself.

People who murder themselves are either opressed or possessed by demons. Suicide is seen as murder in the eyes of God, and thus Judas was a murderer, a greed-filled betrayer, and a blasphemer. His portion of hell is surely with satan.

Not only this, but Judas knee the truth if the kingdom of heaven and still turned from it. This is high treason in the eyes of God, and unforgivable sin - blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Thanks be to God that Jesus Christ is risen, for He conquered death, hell, the demonic and Satan. The victory is Christ's, and if we believe in Christ, we are sealed by His Holy Spirit unto eternity.
