Many of the negative patterns in your life are directly tied to your bloodline.

There are some hidden agents of the enemy that have been planted in your direct lineage that are laying traps up ahead for you along your journey, with the intent to derail your assignment and destiny in God.

It is therefore imperative that you learn how to identify those demonic agents, and how to arrest them before they can succeed in messing up your life.

I speak here from experience.

I watched my own life mimic many of the patterns of my own parents and some of their mistakes: things that derailed my life and set me off course for several years. It scared me how powerful this thing is.

You never know how powerful and pernicious the enemy in your bloodline is until you encounter its workings in your own life.

Some of you right now are paying for things that your parents, grandparents and great-grandparents have done. Their actions created an open door for the enemy to come into the family line and work destruction. Now you are living out the consequences of their mistakes and wrong choices: and you aren't even aware of it.

Why is perpetual single-hood the end result of the romantic lives of all the women in your family? And when someone does get married, why do the marriages typically end up broken in a divorce?

Why do such a large number of men in your family end up going to prison as if it’s some sort of rite of passage into manhood? Why do so many of the young women end up as single moms? Some of you can trace this back to three and four generations! Why is it so rare for someone in your family to escape the trap of poverty?

If you really want to know why grandma keeps quiet on so many 'family secrets'—it’s because she's afraid that if she talks too much you'll find out just how deep incest and familial rape runs in your family line!

When Jesus said that Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy: that's exactly what he meant! Satan is sowing mass destruction into families in order to poison the production of positive fruit.

Every move the enemy makes is to block the move of God in your life. His goal is to prevent you from entering into Christ's Kingdom.

If you want to truly own your life and get on the right track, you're going how to do some soul weeding. You're going to have learn how to tend the garden in your own soul and destroy some weeds that God did not plant there.

This is uncomfortable work. There is no magic bullet solution. One must be willing to allow the Holy Spirit to go deep into the crevices and recesses of your heart to point out and extricate things that don't belong there.

As Christians we are being conformed into the image of Jesus Christ. [Romans 8:29] This is an inner image—not an outer one. God wants you to start looking like His spiritual family. And in order for that to happen you have to be willing to stop living comfortably with dysfunction in your life, and arrest the satanic agent hidden in your bloodline.

Failure to do so means not only will you fall short of becoming all you were made to accomplish in God: but you'll end up passing your dysfunctions down to your own children. And the cycle continues into future generations. It's time to stop giving eternal life to the enemy assigned to take out your family tree!
