If theoretically a person could perfectly obey God's law, and never sin even one time, that person could live forever! If Adam and Eve had never sinned, they would have lived forever (Romans 5:12). Unfortunately, no human being (other than Jesus Christ) has ever lived without sinning (Romans 3:23).

You fundies say 'Jesus is God'. Abraham & Isaac: Lying. Hosea 13:16: Murder, Abortion & War Crimes.

I don't have a single twinge anywhere in my body. I don't have a criminal record for so much as spitting on the pavement. I can leave my house without so much as anyone looking at me funny. I'm an Atheist.
Question: Can you do the maths, David J. Pedo ...?!
What did a certain someone say about Hypocrites , Dave-o?
Of course DJS is the kind of idiot who thinks immortality would be awesome. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to die, personally, but give me a couple centuries over outright end-of-time immortality anyday. Any longer than that and the boredom sets in.
Er, didn’t Jesus actually die at the cross? Being restored to living status doesn’t mean the death never happened. So perfect obedience doesn’t sound like a perfect ward against death.
Besides, Paul got the situation of Death’s arrival slightly mixed up. Adam and Eve were created mortal ; they would have had to first partake of the Tree of Life to become deathless. But they were removed from Eden before that happened. In short, going strictly by Genesis, Death, or at least Mortality, preceded Sin.
Oh, so the one who was conceived immaculately, according to the story, and never sinned - was then executed by the Romans when he was only 33. OK, Davey, whatever you say…
"If Adam and Eve had never sinned, they would have lived forever"
According to Genesis, you need two things to be a god. Living forever and knowing the difference between Good and Evil.
The tree of 'live forever' was not off limits, so they may have lived forever if they stayed in the Garden. Kind of like other religious myths, where the gods have some fruit of immortality they share to keep going.
But they got kicked out of the Garden for eating the fruit that educated them out of their innocence.
Obeying God's Laws doesn't do dick about immortality, unless you're SO GOOD he lets you back into the Garden and gives you Idunn's Golden Appples.
Confused?
