A medical doctor is just a man who is offering his opinion. He doesn’t really know whether or not the pregnant woman will die if she doesn’t have an abortion. And even if several doctors consensually agree, that still doesn’t mean that they are correct. There have been numerous cases where doctors have told pregnant women that they needed to have an abortion or else they would die, and the women refused to have abortions, and they didn’t die. Doctors are just fallible men.
As a mother (And if a girl or woman is pregnant, she is already a mother.), a girl or woman should lay down her life for her child--whether the child has been born yet or not. This means that a girl or woman should NOT have an abortion to “supposedly” save her own life.

This may be a shock to you, but not all opinions are equal. A medical doctor's opinion is grounded in many years of experience and study of human biology. Your opinion is grounded in complete and total ignorance of the highest order, and is therefore really fucking stupid and entirely undeserving of any serious consideration.

Most of the women who are told they will die if they don't have an abortion DO die when they don't have an abortion. Doctors usually know what they are talking about, ya know. One woman dies every two minutes from complications due to pregnancy and child-birth. Why do you want to INCREASE that amount?
Why should a MOTHER lay down her life for an embryo she's barely aware of? What about the father?
If women should be forced to be baby-incubators, can we force you to be blood and kidney donor? Can we harvest organs from all dead bodies, with or without prior consent?
Ectopic pregnancy that occurs in the fallopian tube is alway lethal. The fetus will die regardless of what doctors do, and the woman will die in nearly every case where doctors do not act.
Women would be much better off attending a religious institution, if they believe they must, where women are treated as valuable human beings whose lives are worth more than to throw them away in service to the ego of some ignorant preacher.

I agree. It is murder to force a woman to die from pregnancy complications rather than terminate the pregnancy.

And there are even more numerous cases where the woman doesn't get an abortion and she does die, like that one woman from Italy who the Catholic church decided to turn into a saint for political reasons.

My wife's sister once had an ectopic pregnancy. Had she not had it terminated she definitely would have died painfully. The fetus wouldn't have survived either. There's no "supposedly" about it. Please tell me how that would have been better than her living to give birth to a healthy child a few years later?
So if a burglar breaks into your house in the night, stands over your bed with a gun in their hand, points the gun at you, takes off the safety and puts their finger on the trigger... You shooting them first wouldn't be justifiable. It wouldn't be self defense; it would be murder. I mean, you're not psychic; you can't know for sure they were definitely going to kill you.

No she isn't. Until the child is safely born she is a potential mother. Yes, maternal feeling has lead to women risking their lives for their unborn, but is and should always be their case by case personal decision and not the general dictation of a moralistic ass who will never have to make that decision.

That's why you're not a doctor who can look at a person's symptoms, determine a known ill that those are associated with, and make an educated guess to what the patient should do about it based on the evidence rather than throwing it out if it doesn't conform to a predetermined notion of yours.
So when you discover a lump on your bollock, and your doctor tells you that it's Cancer: terminal , you're gonna ask for a second opinion ...?!
I'd rather go with my doctor's opinions than any fundie's 'facts'. And as he was a surgical anaesthetist (still is) prior to becoming a general practitioner, who'd made my operation to have a (benign) tumour removed completely painless, I know who I'd trust with my life: and said physician is a Muslim .
