Abortion is the Antichrist’s demonic parody of the Eucharist. That is why it uses the same holy words, “This is my body,” with the blasphemously opposite meaning.

Still butthurt that society is advancing? Il Papa does not support abortion, but many Catholics do.
@Dyz
That is very true, except what the devil supposedly did is not mentioned (at least I don't think it is).
@ Goomy pls:
If I remember correctly, those very few times he is mentioned, he is usually the naysayer, the only one of the angels who questions God's judgement. And the one doing all that horrible shit to Job.
The rebellion in heaven and the fall of Lucifer never made it to the bible, which is a shame, it's a cool story.
“This is my body,”
Except that Christ (presumably) said “This is my body”, while women who are pro-choice would rather say “This is my body!” See the difference?

I always liked the version from Vertigo comics best.
Ah yes, the Eucharist. Where you take a cracker and some wine and magically transform them into human flesh and blood. Then eat it.
And the antichrist is supposed to be the evil, twisted one.
If any other culture had a regular ceremony of ritual cannibalism, Christians would call them barbaric and Satanic.
The whole point of the Mass is that the words cannot be changed because they are supposedly the words Jesus spoke, and it is at this point that transubstantiation is meant to take place. There are no set words to performing an abortion; the operation's the thing. And where are the Kyrie, the Gloria, the Credo and the Agnus Dei? Analogy fails.
"Abortion is the Antichrist’s demonic parody of the Eucharist."
'Eat: This is my body. Drink: This is my blood'. 'Washed in the blood of Jesus' and all that jazz...:

I swear, you lot are more vampiric than Goths!
Peter Kreepy indeed.

Yes, and the devil killed personally only 10 people, all under Gobs' supervision."

God: 2,038,344
Satan (as Goomy pls stated: only under God's authorisation): 10

I guess I must be fucking up somewhere, re. my heathen Atheist a morality, eh Peter Kreepy...?! [/Doug Piranha-levels of sarcasm]
Sacred meals and symbolically consuming the flesh of a god existed in other religions, long before Christianity.
As for the "this is my body" line, pretty sure that goes back to cavewomen declining a cuddle.

Actually it did. Only mentioned very briefly in the book of revelation.
Revelation 12:7-9
7 And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.
8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven.
9 The great dragon was hurled down, that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
This is my body.
This is a fucking cookie.

If any culture had a ceremony of ... well, just about anything ... Christians would call them barbaric and Satanic.

So you're basically saying that women having any human rights over their own body is an idea from the devil?
I suppose you think women's bodies are only "hosts" for the holy fetus as well? There's a certain republican you should hang out with.
Just admit you want to use childbirth as a form of torture against women to "put them in their place" as slaves under men like you.
Yeah, I remember just last Sunday a hundred or so of us were gathered around a woman on the table in the gynocologist's office chanting "This is my body." Then we sang trite little songs about our love and devotion to a non-existent deity, pretended to eat his body and drink his blood, then we went out for brunch.
Transubstantiation is the change whereby, according to Catholic doctrine, the bread and the wine used in the sacrament of the Eucharist become, not merely as by a sign or a figure, but also in reality the body and blood of Christ.
So how is it again that ritualistic cannibalism is ok and abortions are blasphemy? The mental gymnastics of apologists is a wonder to behold.
"This to me is the horror of religion: It allows perfectly decent and sane people to believe by the billions what only lunatics could believe on their own.
If you wake up in the morning, thinking that saying a few Latin words over your pancakes is going to turn them into the body of Elvis Presley, you have lost your mind. But if you think more or less the same thing about a cracker and the body of Jesus, you’re just a Catholic."
