Breonna Taylor would still have been shot in her bed by police two months previously, Amy Cooper AKA Central Park Karen would still try to get Christian Cooper shot by police two months later, and any one of the nameless thousands summarily murdered every year and shrugged off with bullshit justification that would never fly with a white victim would have been the straw that broke the camel's back instead.
It isn't about one death you minimizing, thug worshipping, rape advocate. It's about being continually treated with less humanity than a rabid animal and living in constant terror that one day anyone you pass on the street might just randomly decide you "don't belong" and either kill you themselves and likely get away with it or call police they fully expect to escalate into violence and definitely will get away with it. And the worst part I think is being constantly told to prove their worth, constantly held to higher standards of humanity while knowing wretched things like you can skate through life certain of your protection within a society you actively harm. All you had to do to deserve anything was be born. They are told to earn the most basic rights that are meant to be protected but when they do earn anything and improve their lot in life it is considered stealing from the birthright of a twat like you who only would have had to show up and hold out your hand.
I am forever confounded and deeply disgusted that we are somehow products of the same culture. You are not the future of my people.
