alisonwilliams:
Just because a person is a homosexual doesn’t make them “not in their right mind” and it’s not grounds for firing them.
C. Lee:
I'm going to be politically incorrect, but biblically correct for your understanding. Anyone who practices homosexuality/transgenderism possesses an evil spirit of perversion. The evil spirit will not allow the host to be in their "right mind." Jesus said in John 3:3, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Think about it, alison williams.

I'm going to be politically incorrect
...and the ACLU will be Legally Correct all over your sorry arse in court. Especially in light of a recent decision by the SCOTUS. Go for it. Chance your arm if you think you're the one in the right. The only one stopping you: is you . But know this: you know what you'll be admitting when you can't, won't: or daren't .
You'll soon find out why the second word in the Phrase 'Politically Correct' exists, OP.
The hard way.
Ah, of course- who could forget Jesus’s famous mandate to ‘go out into all the world, and be a jerk to all trans people, boycotting and doxxing transgenders of all nations?’ And we’ll always remember when he ran into the Temple to scourge trans people. After all, isn’t half the Bible dedicated to telling the faithful not to engage in economic contracts of any kind with non-cis folk? And then there’s the obvious command in Exodus about stoning anyone who hires a trans person.
Anyone who practices homosexuality/transgenderism possesses an evil spirit of perversion.
Hmmm.... but if I don't practice transgenderism, I'll never be any good at it!
Anyone who practices homosexuality/transgenderism possesses an evil spirit of perversion.
Joke’s on you! I’m not a “practicing” homosexual or transgender, but I certainly allow the “evil” Spirit of Perversion to guide me anyway! Granted, I may not be a blatant pervert, but nowhere does the great Spirit of Perversion say we have to shove our perversion down people’s throats! …Unless they want it. Safe, Sane, and Consentual, people, that’s our dogma.
Yutolia is right, this cherry picked verse was used out of context. The preacher may not be in their "right mind" either: entertains superstitious beliefs like spirit possession; believes that as soon as any verse is quoted, irrespectively of relevance, God spoke and it's the last word. The verse was not random however, it's like a veiled threat of possible divine punishment, if contested. "Watch your step, not everyone is allowed in paradise!"
“I'm going to be politically incorrect,”
A constitutional right you have.
“but biblically correct.”
Which is not a legal basis for firing someone. Not a constitutional right for you.
"Anyone who practices homosexuality/transgenderism possesses an evil spirit of perversion.”
Your superstitions are not a legal basis for hiring/firing. Even if you are SURE that transgenderism is the same thing as homosexuality. You don’t have to hang out with such people or date them, but you can’t use it for hiring/firing/promotion decisions.
"The evil spirit will not allow the host to be in their "right mind."”
Invisible affects that you see hovering over people are your problem. Don’t make them other people’s. You wouldn’t want anyone able to fire you because ’he’s washed in the blood of the lamb, that makes him an accessory to MURDER!’
"Jesus said in John 3:3, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” “
And that’s about the afterlife. Not your business plan. Not your decision to make.
