Yes. At present the Moslem Victim Card is the top trump in the deck. It out-ranks the Black Victim Card, the Gay Victim Card, the Feminist Victim Card, the Latino Victim Card.
If Zimmerman had said he was a Moslem, and that Trayvon had "disrespected" his religion, he would never have been charged with anything.

I see the "Christian victim card" being thrown around the most.
"They won't force children to be indoctrinated in my Christian myths in public schools, we are a victim of Christian persecution."
"There are laws preventing me from using my Christianity to justify beating and even killing gay people, we are a victim of Christian persecution."
As long as the white male straight minority group acts as if it was the majority, and treats everyone else as second-class citizens, there will always be victims of discrimination. The remedy is easy; if you don't like "Victim Cards", just treat everyone as equal human beings.
As Zimmerman said he was a Christians, and that Trayvon committed the grave crime of walking while black, Zimmerman was never convicted of the murder he committed.
If you raise a gun, point it at a human being and fire, you have committed murder or attempted murder. No-one can be oblivious of the fact that a gun can kill.
So, does that mean that Zimmermann's half "Latino Victim Card" trumped Martin's "Black Victim Card"? How does that work, do these different cards have some numeral values, which can be used to calculate who is the victim?
@ UHM
I know, sadly. I was more into moral and common sense, what ought to be .
@ebonystone
Zimmerman is part Hispanic, i.e. Latino.
Zimmermann's case is a complex one. I'd have put him guilty of "endangering other's life" by provoking the aggressive behaviour of an otherwise quiet Travyon Martin. And unauthorized practice of police duties.
But I'm not sure how it translates into Floridian's legal system.
ebonystone, you are absolutely right.
If Zimmerman had claimed he killed Martin because Zimmerman was a Muslim and Martin "disrespected" [sic] his religion, there would have been no arrest.
The cops would have gunned down Zimmerman right then & there.
Because American society is just so gosh darn tolerant of Muslims, sure. If that lovely gentleman had been suspected of being a Muslim, oh golly, I can only imagine how much support he'd get, whether or not he claimed religion as an excuse for murder.
Bullshit. You can't kill someone just because they "disrespected" your religion. I remember reading about a case where some idiot dressed up as Mohammad and the people that beat him up still got charged for it. It didn't matter that their religion was offended, all that mattered was the assault case and thankfully that's exactly how it got handled. Although you should really stop playing that "Poor Persecuted Christian" card. Sometimes it feels like that's the only card in every fundie's deck.

Malala Yousufzai. Your argument is invalid.

'Trump', eh? I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelled of elderberries! [/French Taunter] [/Monty Python reunion] XP X3
George Zimmerman has besmirched the good names of Men's Wearhouse founder & CEO (and all-caps alliteration meme-meister) George Zimmer, also supremo of all things Rule 34 (especially Jessica Rabbit), Julius Zimmerman. >:(
@dionysus, Kuno
So basically, the White Male Christian Persecution card = Black Lotus...? [/paradox] X3
Therefore African-Americans can play the Race Card, which trumps even yours in the whole 'Persecution' game, eh W.A.S.P.s?! Can you say 'Trayvon Martin'? I know you can. [/mega-paradox] [/Entire argument blasted out of the infinite multiverses]
If Zimmerman had said he was a Moslem, and that Trayvon had "disrespected" his religion, he would never have been charged with anything.
Gee, maybe Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the survivor charged with the Boston Marathon bombing, should try that one. Maybe they'll give him a hardy handshake and a "job well done".[/sarcasm]
@Anon-e-moose
I thought I was the only one who remembered the great master of all things pinup and beyond, Zimmerman. I have no idea if he's still producing or where it is, but my archive of his work is substantial.
But I'm sure you believe that the 'poor, oppressed, middle class, conservative Christian white male' card trumps them all.
I play ... my Trap Card!

But he wasn't going to have a trial, on account of being Christian, white and "a pillar of the community" (read: old racist fuck), until there was a national outcry.
Defending a man who shot a kid for being black in a white neighbourhood, and who later threatened his girlfriend and her father with a gun, then later threatened the same girlfriend with a shotgun before barricading himself inside her apartment?
I knew these nutters were low, but this is rock-bottom.
Of all the things that might have occured "If Zimmerman had said he was a Moslem" you went for the last defense he could have used.
You really might as well start shaking your head hard right now if you think that scenario woulda played out for Zimmerman, you've lost all sense of the country you live in, actual documented statistical bias.
You're deluded, badly fucked up if you think that would give him an edge in America.
Confused?
