Recently I caught up with author Ray Comfort to talk about his new book about evolution.
Frank: Good afternoon Ray. Let me be blunt. Did you take things out of context to give a biased view in your book?
Ray: Quote mining...was intended by the author
Frank: But why be dishonest? Why couldn't you write a book intended for people who want to know the truth?
Ray: I don't see any value in...those who want to discover the truth about evolution. No one seriously values...this book
Frank: You don't think you'd get as much money by having integrity?
Frank: Yes, your unscrupulous love of money has been well documented in the past. Weren't you nearly convicted of taking organs from certain scientists to sell on the black market?
Ray: When I uncover an evolutionary expert...I merely extract what I believe is of value.
Frank: Yet you somehow avoided jail? How?
Ray: No evidence
Frank: Damn our incompetent police force! What do you plan to do after this book?
Ray: This is the practice of tak-
Frank: Yeah, yeah, I know what mining is, but that's just a surprising answer? I'm sure our readers will be surprised, perhaps disdainful.
Ray: When I uncover...every gold nugget..some
Frank: Well sure, anyone can say they will mine every gold nugget, but in real life it's not that easy. Have you any experience in mining?
Frank: But how will you be able to achieve this rather bond villianesque objective?
Frank: Well good luck with that. Thanks for meeting me today. Let me pay the bill. Let's see, I had the chicken, and you had?
Frank: Oh yes, I remember now. Well you certainly are an odd fellow, but thanks for your time.
