Fucking not fundie.
Come on, guys. He doesn't mention religion at all in here.
This is not "Conservatives / Republicans say the darndest things".
Make that its own forum.
Meh, not really that fundie. Just your average, run-of-the-mill Godly Republican (TM)...
This ought to be placed in the "Politcal Whackjobs say the darnedst things" category.
Whine whine, the person I wanted to win didnt (despite my prayers to the sky pixie), whine, it is so unfair, whine, stamp feet, conspiracy theory, whine.
Bunch of cunts.
There was an article in my school newspaper about this homeless man who voted for Obama. He was the third person waiting in line to vote. According to the article, he registered using the office address of the homeless advocacy organization that he belongs to.
The article was quite interesting and moving, but of course, lighthouse would just say that the man's vote shouldn't have been counted because he was a "drugged-out, drunk, lazy bum." Heartless hack.
Yes, how dare community workers help US citizens exercise their right to vote.
And yes, the homeless can vote. It's called the local shelter address.
Because convincing people to vote is cheating, and feeding the homeless is unethical. This is wrong, wrong, wrong, especially that second part. Jesus would never accept that behaviour.
Because the vote was originally only available to wealthy, white, land owning men and that's the way it should of stayed!
In Canada a homeless person can use a shelter they frequent as their home address. Not sure about the US though.
And Landover Baptist Church were offering to trade Negroes a fried chicken dinner in exchange for their voter registration card (dark meat only, terms and regulations apply)!
What do you mean, 'that's just a made-up story'?
@anonymous-
Yeah but he is a memebr of RR, whcih means he is a fundie (or a troll). And what he said was a darndest thing.
The site is "fundies say the darndest things" not "fundies say the darndest things specifically about religion and nothing else including politics because everyone knows all fundies keep their religion completely separate from their politics".
Yeah, I think it is pretty ethical to help people get to their polling place if they need help. Also to help those legally entitled to register to vote--you know, citizens of at least 18 who haven't had their voting right revoked for some reason (generally, committing a felony). I also think it is ethical to feed the homeless. Read that Book you cling to so hard--I think you'll find Jesus agrees with the last part, at least.
Believe it or not, fuckhead, not only do homeless people have a right to vote just like the rest of us (a number of organizations and shelters can provide them with a legitimate address so they can do so), many of them were especially anxious to do so during the last election because they were well aware of the damage done to them in their situation by the policies of the Bush administration and Republican party as a whole. If you're really interested in looking into election and voter fraud, see: The Repulican National Committee.
'so if you think this election was really ethical...'
What about the 2000 & 2004 elections? There was PLENTY of evidence of Rethuglican trickery to ensure a win for Dumbya. Of course, the RaptureRetards don't buy that, they think Dumbya was ordained to be President by God.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
