Rabbi Shlomo Amar #fundie #homophobia timesofisrael.com

Jerusalem’s chief rabbi lashed out at Israel’s gay community in an interview released Friday, calling homosexuality an “abomination” and earning himself a police complaint for incitement.

Shlomo Amar, who previously served as the country’s Sephardi chief rabbi, told Israel Hayom newspaper that homosexuality is an “abomination,” and that Jewish law advocates the death penalty for those who choose to engage in same sex relationships.

“I call it a cult. It’s a cult of abominations, it is obvious. It’s an abomination,” he said. “The Torah says it is punishable by death. It is in the first rank of severe offenses— They say ‘leaning,’ ‘perversion’ – this is nonsense. There is lust, and a person can overcome it if they want to, like all lusts. This is among the most forbidden lusts, the most severe. ”

Amar said he declined to attend a memorial service for a teenage girl stabbed to death by an ultra-Orthodox zealot during last year’s Gay Pride parade in Jerusalem, after her family declined to read aloud his condemnation of homosexuality.

“When Shira Banki was killed, they commemorated the thirtieth day of her death. They asked me to attend, and I would not. I wrote to them a letter expressing great sadness and opposition in the strongest terms to the deeds” of her killer, Yishai Schlissel,” he said.

“On the other hand,” he said he wrote to Banki’s family, “‘I call on you, if you want to elate her soul to the heavens, to repent from your evil ways. It is forbidden by the Torah.\ I gave them a condition that they read my letter in full [and then I would attend]. They wanted to read half. I did not agree [to attend].”

Amar said that his attendance would have “blasphemed the name of God.”

He also came out against rabbis trying to build bridges with the LGBTQ community: “There is no such thing, to show understanding or tolerance for this. A simple truth needs to be stated – there is a severe prohibition, and there is no allowance for it.”

The rabbi emphasized he would not budge on his position, even at the price of estranging secular Jews from religious life.

Frazier Glenn Miller #conspiracy timesofisrael.com

OlATHE, Kan. (AP) — The white supremacist who shot dead three people at two Jewish sites in Kansas City in 2014 told the court Friday that the killings were necessary, an argument the judge in the trial rejected as a defense.

Johnson County Judge Thomas Kelly Ryan said the “compelling necessity” defense could not be used in the guilt phase of the capital murder trial of Frazier Glenn Miller, 74, of Aurora, Missouri. Ryan didn’t rule out the possibility of letting Miller use the defense if he is convicted of the killings and jurors have to decide whether he will be sentenced to death.

Miller does not deny gunning down Dr. William Lewis Corporon, 69, and his 14-year-old grandson, Reat Griffin Underwood, at the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park, and Terri LaManno, 53, at the nearby Village Shalom care center on April 13, 2014. He said he felt it was his duty to kill Jewish people before he died; he didn’t know all three were Christians.

Miller spoke Friday for nearly an hour about his planned defense, explaining that the Declaration of Independence gave him the “right” to do what he did and insisting that “there is no legal way to save the white race.” His rambling presentation touched on Caitlyn Jenner, AIDS, Israel, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, British wartime leader Winston Churchill, the Rev. Billy Graham and a Jewish conspiracy he alleged was behind the sitcom “All in the Family.”

Ryan said there was no connection between the argument Miller made and the killings. In ruling from the bench, Ryan used guidance provided in the case of abortion opponent Scott Roeder, who unsuccessfully attempted to present a similar defense during his trial for killing late-term Kansas abortion provider Dr. George Tiller.

Miller, who is representing himself with defense attorneys available to help, responded to the decision by calling Ryan an “egg-sucking mule.” The hearing was marked with frequent outbursts and occasional anti-Semitic remarks from Miller, who at one point called himself a Nazi.

Ryan ruled against Miller on a series of motion, starting when he refused to step down from the case because he said there weren’t grounds for the request. Miller argued that Ryan was obstructing justice by not ruling quickly on motions or allowing him a computer with online access.

The next hearing is set for Aug. 5. The trial is scheduled to begin Aug. 17 with jury selection.

IDF taps chief rabbi who once seemed to permit wartime rape

Eyal Karim later retracted remarks; has also said women's enlistment is 'entirely forbidden,' opposes female singing at army events

Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot on Monday nominated a rabbi who once appeared to condone rape during wartime to take over as the IDF’s chief chaplain. Rabbi Col. Eyal Karim has also maintained that it is “entirely forbidden” for women to serve in the military for reasons of modesty and has opposed female singing at army events.

Karim was embroiled in controversy in 2012 for his response to a question posed to him (Hebrew link) on the religious website Kipa, asking in the light of certain biblical passages if IDF soldiers, for example, were permitted to commit rape during wartime despite the general understanding that such an act is widely considered repugnant.

In his response, Karim implied that such practices, among several others that were normally prohibited — including the consumption of nonkosher food — were permitted during battle.

“Although intercourse with a female gentile is very grave, it was permitted during wartime (under the conditions it stipulated) out of consideration for the soldiers’ difficulties,” he wrote. “And since our concern is the success of the collective in the war, the Torah permitted [soldiers] to satisfy the evil urge under the conditions it stipulated for the sake of the collective’s success.”

When the quote surfaced in 2012 and caused a media firestorm, he published a clarification stating that his comments were in no way meant to be applied in the modern era, but rather pertained to a theoretical discussion of the biblical permission for a Jewish soldier to kidnap an enemy woman and wed her.

“Obviously, in our times, when the world has advanced to a level of morality in which one does not marry captives, one must not perform this act, which is also entirely against the army’s values and orders,” he wrote.

The IDF on Monday responded to allegations against Karim, saying the colonel “wishes to clarify that his words were only uttered in response to a theoretical hermeneutical question, certainly not to a practical halachic question.

“Rabbi Karim never wrote, said, or even thought that an IDF soldier is permitted to sexually harm a woman during wartime,” the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit added in a statement.

On the matter of women’s enlistment, Karim wrote in 2002 that it was explicitly forbidden.

“In a situation such as the one during the War of Independence, in which there was a real pikuah nefesh [matter of life or death] of the Jewish people, women also participated in the defense of the nation and country, even though the situation was not so modest,” he wrote. “But in our era we do not live with a real threat to our survival.

“And because of the liable damage to the modesty of the girl and the nation, the great rabbis and the Chief Rabbinate have ruled that the enlistment of girls to the IDF is entirely forbidden.”

In 2011, Karim also wrote that women should not sing at army events. If women do perform, soldiers who object to attending the events on religious grounds should be allowed to skip, he added.

Several Israeli lawmakers decried Karim’s appointment.

Meretz party leader Zehava Galon said that Karim is not “suitable to be the rabbinic authority of the army, in which tens of thousands of women serve, and is not suitable to represent Jewish morality in any form.” She also condemned “his frightening, racist, and inflammatory statement” regarding wartime rape.

Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid urged Karim to disavow his remarks about women’s enlistment, saying that without a public statement to that effect “he cannot be the military chief rabbi.”

“Regarding the reports that he said that beautiful gentile women can be raped during wartime, it appears this is not his opinion,” Lapid continued. “But if he thinks this, not only may he not be the chief military rabbi, he can’t even be a rabbi.”

In addition to Karim, Eisenkot nominated another 12 colonels for promotion to brigadier general, pending the approval of Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman.

Binyamin Atias and other rabbis #fundie timesofisrael.com

Ethiopian Israelis in the central city of Petah Tikva allege that they are regularly denied marriage licenses by the city’s rabbinate, where rabbis question their Jewishness.

Under the auspices of the city’s Sephardic Chief Rabbi Binyamin Atias, members of the city’s 10,000-strong Ethiopian community are routinely rejected by the local rabbinical authority when attempting to register for marriage, forcing them to turn elsewhere, Army Radio reported Monday.

Shega, an Ethiopian Israeli who was recently turned down by the rabbinate’s registrar, told the radio station that after submitting paperwork proving her conversion, the registrar asked her to produce assurances from a rabbi that she was a practicing Orthodox Jew, and investigated the couple’s backgrounds before ultimately telling them to register elsewhere.

Shega said at least 30 Ethiopian Israeli couples had been through similar experiences.

While Ethiopian Jewish immigrants from the Beta Israel community are recognized as fully Jewish and did not need to undergo conversion upon arriving in Israel, immigrants from Ethiopia belonging to the Falash Mura community, which converted from Judaism to Christianity in the 19th century, are required to undergo Orthodox conversion after immigrating.

In 2014, Ethiopian Israelis in Petah Tikva leveled similar complaints of discrimination against the city’s rabbinate and Attias.

At the time, the country’s Chief Rabbinate said its regulations stipulated that local rabbis provide services to all Jewish citizens, and said it would conduct a “thorough investigation” into the claims, promising to take action if discrimination was discovered.

In Israel, the only legal route for Jews to marry is through the rabbinate.

In response to Sunday’s report, Tzohar — an NGO dedicated to bridging gaps between Jews in Israel and offering a more liberal Orthodox alternative to the rabbinate — accused the city of ongoing discriminatory practices.

“We are shocked. No other words can describe the affront and embarrassment toward dozens of couples who simply want to register for marriage where they live,” the organization said in a statement noting the allegations of discrimination.

Tzohar said it was considering opening an office in Petah Tikva where Ethiopian-Israelis would be allowed to register, bypassing the local religious authority.

According to Rabbi Chuck Davidson, an independent activist working for conversion reform in Israel, discrimination by state-funded rabbinical authorities extends to most converts, not just Ethiopians.

“The situation in Petah Tikva is not uncommon,” he told The Times of Israel on Monday. “Many times local rabbinates don’t recognize their own conversions.”

Despite a High Court of Justice ruling from 2013 that banned municipal rabbis from demanding further proof of a convert’s Jewishness, Davidson said the reality is that many Jewish converts in Israel regularly face what he called an “inquisition” into their commitment to Orthodox Judaism.

He said the recent measures by Israel, the Rabbinical Council of America and other groups to standardize and centralize the conversion process has made it virtually impossible to undergo an Orthodox conversion that is universally recognized.

Ultimately, Davidson said it was “the most vulnerable Jews who suffer from this, because their entire identity rests in the hands of a single converting rabbi.”

Lara Kollab #racist timesofisrael.com

A hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, said it has fired a doctor after it emerged that she had been making anti-Semitic remarks for years on social media.
Lara Kollab, 27, of Westlake, was a supervised resident at Cleveland Clinic from July until September 2018.
In November, the Canary Mission website published a compilation of dozens of her tweets — dating from 2011 to 2017 — in which she called for violence against Jews, called them “dogs,” minimized the Holocaust, likened Israel to the Nazi regime and claimed Zionists control US media and schools.
“This individual was employed as a supervised resident at our hospital from July to September 2018,” the hospital said in a statement Sunday carried by local media. “She is no longer working at Cleveland Clinic.
“In no way do these beliefs reflect those of our organization. We fully embrace diversity, inclusion and a culture of safety and respect across our entire health system.”
The statement didn’t state outright that Kollab had been dismissed as a result of her posts.
Kollab’s Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts have been deactivated.
On January 2, 2012, she wrote that she would “purposely give all the yahood the wrong meds,” using the Arabic word for Jews. She also repeatedly expressed hope that “Allah will kill the Jews.”
In December of that year, she responded to a Twitter user who said “Peace won’t come by killing every Zionist. There has to be diplomacy” by writing: “After repeated failed diplomacy, our aim is to defeat the Zionist state through force.”
In October 2012 she said the Holocaust was “exaggerated and the victimization of the jews (ignoring the others killed) is overdone,” and that she was having “a REALLY hard time feeling bad about Holocaust seeing as the ppl who were in it now kill my ppl.”
A BDS supporter, Kollab has also defended the Hamas terror group and said that “jewish settlers in palestine are the descendants of the nazis.”
Kollab hasn’t issued a response to the reports about her.

Khaled al-Mughrabi, Abd Al-Mun’im Abu Zant, Daoud Shihad, Khaled Zaafrani, and Miftah #racist timesofisrael.com

An Islamic preacher on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem told congregants that the Nazis burned the Jews of Europe during the Holocaust because they had been kidnapping children to use their blood in Passover bread. He also claimed that Jews worship Satan, plotted the 9/11 attacks, and control the Freemasons who sacrifice their wives and children in secret ceremonies. An English translation of the sermon, that was captured on video, was provided on Monday by Palestinian Media Watch, a non-governmental media monitoring organization.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center sent a letter to Jordan’s King Abdullah and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas urging them to “immediately take action against Sheikh Khaled al-Mughrabi, the religious teacher at the Al-Aqsa Mosque who is on the payroll of the Waqf [the PA religious authority], for using his class to promote the infamous blood libel screed that ‘explains’ why the Nazi Holocaust took place. The ‘Blood Libel’ is a Christian medieval canard that accuses Jews of using the blood of children to make Passover matzah,” the center said in a statement sent out to the press.

“The Temple Mount is a site of ultimate religious importance to Judaism and revered also by both Christianity and Islam. It should be an area that promotes peace, tolerance, and mutual understanding. However, the Al Aqsa Mosque has now been used to repeat horrific lies and legitimize genocide. Left unchallenged, the Sheik’s ‘sermon’ will only spawn more hatred and violence,” the letter to Abdullah and Abbas read.

During the recent sermon captured on video, al-Mughrabi says: “On the holiday of Passover it is ?forbidden for them to eat regular bread. These matzahs ?[unleavened Passover bread] were not kneaded in the regular way, but rather with the blood of children. In the end it reached the point ?where they were burned in Germany, because of these things, because they ?kidnapped young children.”

In the video, al-Mughrabi, who gives twice weekly lesson on Islam at the mosque in Jerusalem, is seen listing alleged evils of the Jewish people that run a gamut of both classic and modern anti-Semitic accusations spanning centuries, cultures, and continents.

Al-Mughrabi begins by explaining that of the multiple gods that Jews worship, Satan ranks above the Muslim god Allah. “They have smaller gods, from one to nine,? and they have gods who are stronger than Allah, from 11 to 34,” al-Mughrabi. “Devil or Satan is ?number 11 for them. If you look at history, my brothers, you’ll see that the number 11 is ?holy for the Jews, and 666 is also a holy number, three times six signifies the Devil.?”

“Everything they wish to ?happen, or that they want to do and succeed at, they try to make happen on the 11th of ?the month— Therefore, notice the attacks on America [9/11] that took place. When were they? On the 11th of the month. Why? Because ?who was behind them? — It’s known that the Jews were behind them.” Al-Mughrabi then explains that the US film industry — “owned by the ?Children of Israel” — promotes through vampire films a theme that drinking human blood gives eternal life. It is because of this belief in the power of blood that Jews use the blood of children for their Passover bread, he claims.

“The Children of Israel had the holiday of Pesach, ?what is now called Passover,” al-Mughrabi said. “Every holiday, every group would look for a small child, ?kidnap and steal him, bring a barrel called the barrel of nails— They would put the ?small child in the barrel and his body would be pierced by these nails. In the bottom of ?the barrel they would put a faucet and pour the blood— The Devil or one of the big ?gods, demanded it of them as a condition for fulfilling their wishes, that they eat ??[matzah] bread kneaded with the blood of children.”

“When these ?stories were exposed, the Children of Israel were expelled from all of Europe and the ?tragedy of the Children of Israel began in all Europe.” The sheikh then claimed that proof of his allegations can easily be found on the Internet with a simple search using Google. “Even though there is a news blackout about ?them, they are on the Internet,” he says. Freemasons, he went on, are “witchcraft gatherings of the ?Children of Israel.”

“One of the ceremonies, for instance if someone wants to be ?accepted as a new member, or rise in rank— he has to somehow bring one of his sons ?or daughters, or his wife or one of his male or female relatives, and put them on the ?table and slaughter them with his own hands as a sacrifice to Satan, in order to rise in ?the ranks of the Freemasons. My brothers, this exists until today.?”

The myth of blood baked into matzah, known as ‘the blood libel,’ dates back to the Middle Ages in Europe, and was often used as a pretext to commit atrocities against Jewish communities. The false allegation is still believed in some Arab cultures and is occasionally cited by officials and public figures. In September 2014 Sheikh Abd Al-Mun’im Abu Zant, a former Jordanian MP revived the blood libel in an interview with al-Aqsa TV.

“On their religious holidays, if they cannot find a Muslim to slaughter, and use drops of his blood to knead the matzos they eat, they slaughter a Christian in order to take drops of his blood, and mix it into the matzos that they eat on that holiday,” Abu Zant said. In July 2014 Palestinian Islamic Jihad spokesman Daoud Shihad said that Israeli rabbis told IDF soldiers to knead the blood of Arabs into their dough.

“Israel is targeting the Palestinians— I would just like to remind you of the ruling by the Israeli rabbis, who have instructed the soldiers to knead the [dough for] the bread that the Jews eat with the blood of Arab and Palestinian children,” Shihad said during an interview on Lebanon’s Mayadeen TV, as reported by the Washington-based Middle East Media Research Institute.

A year earlier, in May 2013, Egyptian politician Khaled Zaafrani, during an interview on al-Hafez TV, a Salafist Egyptian station, also brought up the blood libel. “It is well-known that during Passover they make matzos called the ‘Blood of Zion.’ They take a Christian child, slit his throat, and slaughter him—they never forgo this rite.”

In April 2013, a Palestinian nonprofit organization removed an article from its website that accused Jews of using “the blood of Christians in the Jewish Passover.” The Miftah organization, founded by Palestinian lawmaker Hanan Ashrawi and funded by European and Western governments, reportedly apologized for publishing the article, after first refusing to apologize and condemning the Jewish bloggers who drew attention to the article.

Bar-Ilan University drew condemnation from the National Student Union after its local gay chapter claimed the academic body had blocked plans to hold a public event in the campus including other gay organizations on June 22.

“Given that fact that the gay chapter in Bar Ilan includes all the complex components of humanity at the institution and acts in considerate and non-provocative ways, we don’t see any reason that they shouldn’t mark gay month, and of course [we] support their actions,” student union head Gilad Arditi told Army Radio.

Representatives of the university’s administration met with the chapter’s leadership to discuss alternatives for the event. Student Omer Mahluf said students dean Professor Uri Nir had suggested the group’s 90 members hold “a respectful meeting in which there are various speakers, such as psychologists and rabbis, who can offer the participants help.”

According to a report in the Haarez news site, university spokesperson Haim Zisowitz explained that homosexual acts are against halacha — traditional Jews laws — and that as a religious institution, the university couldn’t appear to condone such activities.

“The university has a religious character, and the subject of same-sex relationships is halachically forbidden for men, a clear halachic prohibition,” he said. “Therefore, you can’t allow in a religious university a call to commit an act that transgresses a halachic prohibition.”

To hold such an event, he continued, “is to say that we are in favor — without making a comparison, and don’t get me wrong — but a group that says, ‘We want and believe in pedophilia, in permitting sex with minors, and we want to have a happening’ — every call to break the law is a problem and those are the laws of the Torah.”

Mehdi Taeb #fundie timesofisrael.com

In a speech to religious students on April 20, Mehdi Taeb, who heads a think tank and is considered close to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, said that Jews are powerful sorcerers who have used their abilities to attack Iran. He noted that while “the Jews” had yet to unleash their full powers, their abilities were negated after they tried to use magic to interfere with the Iranian elections of 2008 and 2009.

“The Jews are currently subjecting us to an unprecedented trial,” Taeb said, according to a translation provided by the Middle East Media Research Institute. “As you read in the Koran, [King] Solomon ruled the world— and God ordered a group of sorcerers to come out against him. The Jews have the greatest powers of sorcery, and they make use of this tool.

“All the measures that have been brought against us originate with the Zionists,” he continued. “The US is a tool in their hands. So far, they have not used the full [scope of] their sorcery against us. Sorcery was the final means to which they resorted during the [Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad era, but they were defeated. This ability of the Jews was eliminated by Iran. Five years ago they tried to oust Ahmadinejad [by this means].”

Oxford University Labour Club members #racist timesofisrael.com

An inquiry into allegedly “poisonous” anti-Semitic attitudes within Oxford University’s Labour Club has revealed that some members referred to Auschwitz as a “cash cow,” sang about rockets over Tel Aviv, made fun of Jewish mourners and fatalities during TV coverage of funerals for the 2015 Paris supermarket attack victims, and made allowances for anti-Semitic attacks on Paris synagogues the year before.

The allegations emerge from testimony obtained by the Sunday Times in connection with a student probe into claims of anti-Semitism within the university’s Labour society.

That probe followed the resignation mid-February of the club’s non-Jewish co-chairman in protest at the society’s endorsement of Israeli Apartheid Week. In a sharply worded statement, Alex Chalmers claimed that “a large proportion of both OULC and the student Left in Oxford more generally have some kind of problem with Jews.”

Writing on Facebook, Chalmers accused members of the Labour club’s executive of “throwing around the term ‘Zio’ [a term for Jews usually confined to websites run by the Ku Klux Klan] with casual abandon.” He wrote of “senior members of the club expressing their ‘solidarity’ with Hamas and explicitly defending their tactics of indiscriminately murdering civilians.” He also quoted an unnamed former co-chairperson of the club as claiming, “Most accusations of anti-Semitism are just the Zionists crying wolf.”

Mohammad Hossein Bagheri, Mohammad Golpaigani, Yeni Safak and Turkish media outlets #conspiracy timesofisrael.com

Senior Iranian officials claimed Tuesday the independence referendum in Iraqi Kurdistan a day earlier was a “plot” orchestrated by Israel and the United States.

“The Zionist regime and the world arrogance [US] are behind this issue,” the semi-official Fars News Agency quoted the head of the Iranian armed forces, General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri as saying on Tuesday.

Although Bagheri did not elaborate on Israel’s alleged role, the chief of staff to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei claimed the independence referendum was a “Zionist plot” meant to fuel violence in the Middle East following the battlefield defeats in Iraq and Syria suffered by the Islamic State terror group.

“You may rest assured that it is a plot by the Zionist regime under such conditions that the ISIL is collapsing,” Fars quoted Mohammad Golpaigani as saying, using an alternative acronym for IS. Among numerous conspiracy theories posted on Arabic-language and Persian sites are claims that Israel’s Mossad agency is behind the rise of Islamic State.

“Now they have raised a new issue in the region,” he added. “[The] referendum and its related issues will cause many problems for the Kurds and the neighboring countries.”

In addition to the claims from top Iranian officials Israel is behind the independence vote, Turkish nationalists have said the referendum is meant to create a “second Israel.” Yeni Safak, a conservative Turkish newspaper loyal to Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has pointed to the presence of Israeli flags alongside “so-called Kurdish flags” at rallies organized by the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and claimed that the referendum was part of a Zionist plot.

“Israel, using Masoud Barzani and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) terrorist organization as pawns, seeks to obtain the area between the Nile and Euphrates, which is regarded as ‘the promised land’ in the Torah,” said an article entitled “Barzani plans to deliver ‘promised land’ to Israel.”

It added, “Zionists call the ‘Kurdistan’ that Barzani and the PKK want to establish as ‘Kurdo-Judaic,’ the ‘Jewish Kurdistan.’”

Earlier this month, Turkish media published conspiracy theories claiming that Israel was planning to repatriate Israeli Jews of Kurdish origin to Kurdistan after the referendum.

Think: Navy personnel must shower, sleep, and dress in front of them knowing they are being eyed by them. Our school children are in the same situation for physical education classes. And then they demand positions of authority in these environments. They set no boundaries for themselves to what extent they are willing to demand we go along with their lies and demand we keep a straight face. They do WHAT? They put what into their mouths? And who washes the feces off of whose body part? And which comes first? These are the things that come to mind when I am told, “I’m Gay, and proud of it and I am ready to meet my Maker.” I don’t want these thoughts and I do not want to process the resulting response.

The truth is, if they could make their own society successfully fulfilled, without demanding anything from anyone else, truth would be revealed at the end of one generation and all would witness a dead society, a dead culture, and all remaining would learn from them. When they die...it will be over.

The Sephardic chief rabbi of Israel called black people “monkeys” during his weekly sermon on Saturday evening.

Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef was addressing Jewish legal aspects of the blessing on seeing fruit trees blossoming, during the current Hebrew month of Nissan, and, specifically, whether one should bless one tree or at least two.

In that context, he mentioned a blessing uttered upon seeing an “unusual creature,” citing the example of encountering a black person who has two white parents on the street in America.

In footage aired by the Ynet news site, Yosef could be seen referring to black people by the word “kushi,” which in modern Hebrew has pejorative connotations, and then going on to term a black person a “monkey.”

His office told Ynet that the comparison was a quote from the Talmud.

Alain Soral #racist timesofisrael.com

A French court on Thursday sentenced far-right Holocaust denier Alain Soral to one year in prison for insulting a magistrate and making anti-Semitic comments on his website.

On the site, which is called “Equality and Reconciliation,” Soral wrote that Jews “are manipulative, domineering and hateful.”

Soral, 60, has been convicted multiple times of incitement to hatred over a constant stream of anti-Semitic comments over the years. His last conviction was in December in a defamation case. The Paris Court of Appeal fined him 4,000 euros ($4,500) for producing and selling on his website a poster targeting Jews.

“We will continue to prosecute Mr. Soral as long as he makes anti-Jewish remarks,” said attorney Ilana Soskin, representing the International League Against Racism and Anti-Semitism, which brought the latest complaint against Soral.

Soral was also sentenced for insulting a female magistrate, saying he had “never heard so many lies and dishonesty out of the mouth of a woman, and I have known prostitutes.”

The sentence marks the first serious punishment for the far-right provocateur, according to Richard Malka, an attorney representing the magistrate.

The French Union of Jewish Students tweeted praise for the court’s decision Thursday against “this little propagandist of hatred.”

In 2016, a French court slapped Soral with a $13,000 fine and a suspended prison sentence of six months for saying the Nazis should have finished killing the Jews of Europe.

The sentence was over Soral’s Facebook post a year earlier about Serge and Beate Klarsfeld, two anti-racism activists who helped track down dozens of Nazi war criminals.

“This is what happens when you don’t finish the job,” Soral wrote about an article on a state honor conferred on the Klarsfelds by Germany.

A judge found Soral, who has long been a well-known writer on the French far-right and an ally of the anti-Semitic comedian Dieudonne M’bala M’bala, guilty of “justifying war crimes and crimes against humanity.” It marked only one of Soral’s multiple convictions for minimizing or mocking the Holocaust.

The judge also ordered Soral to pay 5,000 euros, or about $5,600, to each of the Klarsfelds and 2,000 euros, or $2,250, to the International League against Racism and Anti-Semitism, which then too filed the complaint against Soral.

Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef #fundie timesofisrael.com

[Note: This is from May 2017]

The chief rabbi of Israel on Saturday night appeared to suggest during his weekly sermon that secular woman behave like animals due to their immodest dress.

Sephardi Chief Rabbi of Israel Itzhak Yosef also lamented that the non-religious community is unaware of how much respect religious Jews supposedly have for women.

In other comments, he advised religious IDF soldiers who find themselves at army events where women are singing to remove their eyeglasses and conspicuously read from a book to demonstrate that they are not participating.

“If the secular knew how much we respect the woman; everything we do is for a woman’s dignity,” Yosef said according to a Sunday report by the Hebrew-language Kikar Hashabat website that serves the religious community. “A woman is not an animal, she has to keep her dignity. To be modest [in her dress] is her dignity.”

Religious demands for modest dress and behavior by women is a cause of friction in the religious-secular divide in Israel with the latter seeing such requirements as sexual discrimination.

In advice to soldiers, Yosef noted that due to his position he is sometimes required to attended official ceremonies that include singing performances by women. Recalling an event he was at that was also attended by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Reuven Rivlin, Yosef said that when the women started singing he made an obvious display reading from a book that he held up in front of his face to show that he wasn’t listening.

“That way they could all see that I am not listening, my head is in the book, close to what matters,” he explained and instructed religious soldiers to do the same under similar circumstances.

According to religious tradition, if is forbidden for men to hear a woman sing solo, or at all if it is outside of a religious service.

The exclusion of women from musical performances to satisfy religious sensibilities is a controversial subject in Israel, with religious groups often pushing to have women barred from performing in public.

Yosef’s father, Ovadia Yosef, also a chief rabbi, was also known for making controversial statements at his Saturday night sermons, including derogatory comments about Arabs, Muslims and Holocaust victims.

"A La Carta" #fundie timesofisrael.com

A Spanish public broadcaster accused Jews of promoting Satanism.

The assertion was the focus of a radio program titled "From the Inferno - The Jewish People: Propagator of the Satan Cult" aired last month by the state-owned RTVE broadcaster as part of its weekend "A la Carta" program.

The program begins with ominous music, followed by a gravel-voiced announcer who quotes from Jacob Frank, an 18th century Jew from Poland who had been excommunicated by his community for his heretical Kabbalistic theology. "The Jews first propagated the cult of Lucifer in several secret satanic societies," the monologue continued.

"Through black magic, the Israelites called on the powers of darkness with demonic rationale," the announcer continues.

The synopsis on RTVE's website for the 30-minute program states: "The Jewish founders of the occult and masonry society introduced the cult of Lucifer" to some organizations.

On Thursday, "A La Carta" aired another broadcast about Satanism by Vatican societies.

after studying this topic over 20 years ago and avoiding vaccines for the children who came after my research as well as speaking to many likeminded parents AND doctors - it is clear beyond a shadow of a doubt that the only ones still "believing" in vaccines no zero about health or have conflicts of interest. Rabbis who advocate for vaccines are endangering not only the families they've poorly advised but themselves since EVERY child, YES - Everyone has some sort of damage from vaccines that affects their lives! There is a huge population of totally unvaccinated children who should b compared to vaccinated counterparts. If you say that the unvax eat better so they will perform better - then those findings need to be published and disseminated throughout the world. Have you ever listened to Paul Offit & his ilk? He knows zero about health & wellness only vaccines & disease - is health really all about vaccines? Only THINKING humans need to respond. The CDC's website in their guide to vaccines should make any caring parent shudder. There is a childhood cancer epidemic spreading before our eyes for the last 20 years at least, but "they" say vaccines can't be the cause because in their corrupt unscientific brains - the amounts of the toxic ingredients are too small to cause cancer. Same for the criminal use of aluminum and other neurotoxicity components - how could they cause neurological problems since "we say" there's just too little to cause a toxic effect & besides Offit asserts that aluminum is actually a nutrient. Why are these evil gangsters not in jail or worse yet??? We must band together to stop the madness once and for all! That goes for govt subsidizing GMO crops as well as other SAD diet ingredients that is destroying our
Collective health! Share this info & please don't waste your energies on those who want to stay in the dark! Remember only 20% of all the Jews who saw the miracles of the 10 plagues in Egypt wanted to leave their posts as physical and mental slaves for the freedom of G-d's Torah. The other 80% who were afraid to leave their slave mentality & the "comfort zone" they were used to - perished in the plague of darkness. Throughout history it was always the minority who bus ex in & fought for the truth. No different today! It's insanity win & simple to watch & recognize the mindboggling Divine miracles of human fetal development & birth & THINK that only a toxic brew injected into him will protect him from childhood diseases that were only beneficial when managed properly. Anyone who became crippled or defected or dead had a compromised immune system. Remember "correlation is NOT causation". If only less than 1% of those who contracted polio became crippled or died - why were they not studied for these problems that didn't affect the other 99% in the least? Because nutritional solutions are not lucrative.
Before you express your exasperation with the findings that I & countless other parents have found - unless you're related to big pharma or the doctors who will have serious shame from their alliances with their corrupt medical associations- watch Trace Amounts & Bought among many good lectures. If your vaccinated children seem fine & that's why you want everyone to vaccinate - thank G-d that they're not As damaged as they could be. Make sure they're methylation pathways are working becauses vaccine damage can take on different forms even decades later. Unvaccinated children who are loved & properly nourished are an unbelievable delight that are truly a gift from G-d! Weigh your vaccine options very carefully ! Don't allow dogma & revisionist disease history scare you into destroying your family's health. Share this message with firm kindness!! Invite friends and family to view the documentaries like Trace Amounts & Bought before our government takes them off - & don't think it can't happen.
