A Tory MP has claimed NHS over-crowding could be solved by doctors using astrology to treat patients.
David Tredinnick said consulting the stars would "take huge pressure off doctors" and predicts astrology will "have a role to play in healthcare."
The MP for Bosworth in Leicestershire also admitted he had prepared astrological charts for fellow MPs.

Pakistani court has upheld the death sentence of a Christian woman who was convicted for blasphemy in 2010 after a row with a group of Muslim women over a glass of water.
Asia Bibi, a 50-year-old mother of five, had appealed before the Lahore High Court against the ruling, in which she was found guilty of insulting Islam's Prophet Muhammad, but the court rejected her appeal Thursday, her lawyer said.
Sardar Mushtaq, a defence lawyer, said she would appeal to the country's Supreme Court.
"We have the right to appeal in 30 days, and we will continue this legal battle by approaching the Supreme Court of Pakistan," Mr Mushtaq said.
"We have a strong case, and we will try our best to save her life," he told The Associated Press.
Mrs Bibi was arrested after Muslim women told a cleric in a village in the eastern Punjab province that she had made "derogatory remarks" about the prophet.
He said the trouble began when the women objected to Mrs Bibi using their drinking glass because she was not a Muslim, setting off a heated verbal exchange.
Mrs Bibi's case drew global criticism in 2011 when Pakistan's minister for minorities Shahbaz Bhatti and eastern Punjab Governor Salman Taseer were killed for supporting her and opposing blasphemy laws.
Taseer was killed in the capital Islamabad by one of his police guards after visiting Bibi in jail.
Bhati was killed months later by the Pakistani Taliban, who called him an "infidel Christian."
International and local human rights groups have called for amending blasphemy laws introduced by the military dictator Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq in 1980s.
In a statement Thursday, Amnesty International called for Mrs Bibi's release.
"This is a grave injustice," said David Griffiths, Amnesty's Deputy Asia Pacific Director. He said there were serious concerns about the fairness of the trial.
"Her mental and physical health has reportedly deteriorated badly during the years she has spent in almost total isolation on death row. She should be released immediately and the conviction should be quashed," he said.
Under Pakistani blasphemy laws, insulting the Koran or the Prophet Muhammad can be punished with life imprisonment or death. Experts say the laws often are exploited for personal gain.
Pakistan imposed a moratorium on executions in 2008 and has never executed anyone convicted of blasphemy. Instead, such cases usually linger on appeal.

Reminds me of Marabel Morgan's 1973 book The Total Woman. Morgan was in the social circle of the wives of Miami Dolphins football players and witnessed how a large percentage of these pampered young wives were destroying their marriages by turning into slovenly nags, so she wrote an advice book teaching her friends two things.
The first was time management. Hey girls: get your small half of the division of labor within your marriages done early, so you don't feel unhappy and bitchy about cleaning, grocery shopping, cooking etcetera on account of only getting it done at the last minute and under pressure. Get your stuff done early and you can feel great about yourselves while you go about your "me" time shoe-shopping or whatever, instead of feeling guilty about getting nothing done all day.
The second was to tell these women that in their conflicts with their husbands, THEY were the problem, not the husbands. These pampered young wives were always trying to vie for power in their relationships by doing stupid things like withholding sex because their husband hadn't taken out the trash yet. They were following female instincts to find grounds on which to see themselves as wronged, which they would then try to use as leverage. In short, these wives were not self-controlled and needed a man to control them, to not tolerate their bitchiness, but how many men are up to that without getting pissed off and alienated? These guys were stud athletes. That didn't make them extraordinary men who had any special talent for dealing with irrationally demanding women.
So Morgan tried to teach the women how to control themselves. She told them not to try to gain and use manipulative power in their marriages but do the opposite. Instead of holding back affection until they got what they wanted the wives were advised to unilaterally disarm: to give freely and generously, to stop nagging, to be hot for sex regardless of what else was going on the the relationship, and it worked.
All these wives discovered that it had indeed been them who was the problem. When they became forthcoming and generous their husbands did not grab the offered territory and demand still more. They didn't become oppressive. Instead they became MORE willing to do their part of the household division of labor. They reciprocated, and were just happy that their wives were not being bitches anymore, making them want to be with their wives more and make their wives happy.
The feminists absolutely hated it. The idea that women were the problem, not men, went against all of their ideology. But there is obviously a lot of truth to it: in very many cases women ARE the problem, and for that large fraction of cases the advice to stop being a bitch is important wisdom. Neither does it do any harm to women who aren't bitches to see someone lay out the ways in which a lot of other women ruin their marriages.

Now, I've spent some time in the Gulf, and I know how it works in Muslim country. And it is much better for men. You retain custody of the children. Divorce is simple and cheap (compared to the thousands I am still spending on lawyers) - just say "I divorce thee, I divorce thee, I divorce thee" to her. Then she has to go back to her parents.
Islamic family law is streets ahead of us. It has none of the problems that we have, where women are directly bribed to break up with their husbands. Nor is the capital of the most productive people in our society, professional men, stolen and ruined - we keep it and carry on investing. There is a certain financial loss to women in divorce.
Also, frankly the thing about being able to take second wives makes things much more convenient. It is common for a professional man to want to take a second wife, especially when his first wife is beyond childbearing years. We do too. Just we have to go there awful rigmarole of divorce and the destruction of the assets we worked our whole life to build up. Not so with the muslims. So long as you can support a second wife you can, leaving the existing wife in place and not disrupting anything at all. It is much better.
I'm quite convinced that family law in Western Christian countries will lead to Islamisation. For me, it would have been much better. I could live with not eating pork for that - I much prefer beef and lamb anyway.

70 sect members found living underground in Russia
A reclusive sect that literally went underground to stop contact with the outside world kept 27 children in dark and unheated cells, many of them for more than a decade, prosecutors said Wednesday. The children have been freed and the parents charged with child abuse.

Stop believing every atheist is smart, they are generally children looking for a place among the greats but sadly they have no greater accomplishment then trash talking what they do not understand. Militants belonging to a group called Sri Ram Sena, who claim to be custodians of Indian culture, said Valentine's Day is un-Indian.
The threat comes days after the group's activists stormed a bar in the south western city of Mangalore, dragging out and beating women they accused of acting obscenely and "going astray".
The attack led to fears an extremist "Hindu Taliban" was on the rise in India.
Gangadhar Kulkarni, an activist in the group, which is a radical wing of the Hindu nationalist movement, said: "If people celebrate the day despite our warning, then we will definitely attack them."
"Valentine's Day is definitely not Indian culture. We will not allow celebration of that day in any form," added Pramod Mutalik, the group's founder.
