Trump comes across more as a Mafia Don. Loyalty to "friends" takes precedence over defending democracy. Don't expect a gangster to have a historical sense or principles. The asshole problem can be looked at using Kohlberg's Stages of Moral Development.

In stage one, you have the pre-adolescent stage, which is the go-along-to-get-along stage. The child seeks to please himself and those around him.

In stage two there is the recognition for the need for rules for the good of society. This is called the "conventional stage" and is the stage most people reach.

The third stage is the recognition that laws are necessarily universal and that written laws and rules cannot always express it perfectly. This is the regulative nature of Christianity and I suspect Christianity not as popular because it has a low cognitive availability. Both the science of jurisprudence and Christianity can only be truly understood by those who have reached stage three of Kohlberg's stages of moral development.

Most of us "go along to get along". Politicians depend on a voting public that operates at stage 3 to maintain a juristic system of laws. What went wrong?

Corruption of courts and judges happens in three ways:

(1) Bent rulings favouring a rich or connected party, as when the judge is bribed or threatened or pleasing his friends

(2) The judge deviously twisting and extending existing law, 'interpreting' to fabricate and invent via court order, 'legislating from the bench' to advance an agenda

(3) The judge biased to favour a particular group over other groups, for example, women over men, one ethnicity over another, one tribe or clan over another.

Unfortunately, we now see all of the above. As the sense of a 'higher law' from heaven has faded from society, black-robed 'priests' of the judiciary have grabbed more power.

Biblical prophets railed against injustice. Christian sages Augustine and Aquinas boldly declared that, 'Lex injusta non est lex' - 'An unjust law is no law at all'.

After the early 1300s book on hanging dishonest judges, in 1346 King Edward III ordered judges to provide "equal law and right to all our subjects, rich and poor, without regard to any person". This became the basis of the judge's oath in Britain and other nations, the judge swearing to "do right to all manner of people ... without fear or favour, affection or ill will". In the USA, to: "administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich". Alas, these seem mere words now.

As the West lost the sense of a higher law, the temptations of satanic power were swift. The 1789 French revolution was a manipulated Illuminati event.

Perfect system to deliver an advanced bio-weapon. Specific countries, cities or even genetically-specific weaponized "flu-like" virus' could be delivered in varying degrees of potency....to different targeted areas around the globe.

Easy to control the Propaganda roll out. There have been unusual "breakouts" worldwide in seemingly unrelated areas. China, Italy and Iran. Initially, nothing in New York for weeks. Or Africa. Yet both have significant relationships with the Chinese.

Even if people quarantine, the virus can still be delivered. And if a civil disobedience movement breaks out...watch out! A quick spray will stop that nonsense and "prove" how unsafe it is.

Of course, areas where the privileged are might get just a mild spray or none at all. Perfect way to achieve Goal Number One of the Georgia Guidestones without getting their hands too dirty.

Somehow, with all the reduction in commercial flights canceled because of Covid, we still see the same volume of aircraft spraying. Just have to add that "special canister" when necessary.
