The majority of the images and videos he possesed were children and BABIES being brutally raped on film and camera and Mark Salling as the audience for those photos and videos. Do some research please... Articles are stating the images were masochistic and violent on top of the rape itself. Defend these victims not him. He could have gotten help at any time and CHOSE not to. Instead he chose to create a demand for raping children

He didn’t “create a demand.” It’s not like he went out and announced to the world that he was addicted to child pornography. And for the last time, I was not defending his actions. You people constantly describing to me what he did isn’t changing anything. I’m aware. But that doesn’t change the fact that he was a human who deserved to be helped and understood. And it is OKAY for him to be mourned. It is OKAY for people to be sad about his death. Please stop bombarding me with useless messages as if I have no idea what’s going on. Yes, he did terrible things, but the root of all of this is mental illness, whether you people can accept that or not. Mark was sick. And that made him do some terrible things. I am NOT defending that, and obviously shit like that needs to STOP. But he is dead. He fucking killed himself, so yeah, I have a little sympathy for him.

Mark Sailling was also accused of raping at least one woman. I’m sure you also have an apology for that.

Yeah, if you’ve read about that “rape” it was dumb as fuck. It didn’t even go to trial because the girl’s case didn’t really make any sense. I will never defend rape, and obviously Mark should not have tried to force his girlfriend into sex, but that didn’t seem to be a big deal to me. It was just a dumb misunderstanding.

saying he deserved jail time just for watching child porn is a little crazy to me. That’s like saying you killed someone because you watched their death video, so you deserve to go to prison. He didn’t hurt anyone directly, and the amount of shit he got was insane and unnecessary. And as for not getting help, maybe he didn’t realize he needed any. It’s impossible to get inside his head and know what he was thinking – but it’s painfully obvious that he was depressed, and that fact was obvious before any of this happened. If you watch interviews of him from years ago, it was clear something was wrong with him mentally. He had a strange upbringing, and honestly, thinking about how he was a child actor in Hollywood once, he probably faced a lot of real sexual abuse himself when he was a kid. There’s a reason behind everyone’s mental illness, and Mark is no exception. He still deserved to be treated like a normal person with problems rather than an irredeemable monster. I’m sure that really made him feel like he had any chance of a normal life again.

Overall, I understand where people like you are coming from, but it doesn’t change how I feel about this situation. It’s heartbreaking to me to see someone be treated this way after his death. He meant a lot to a lot of people, and it is okay for him to be missed and mourned. No one is defending his mistakes, but people have to understand that he was so much more than his illness.
