So how do you explain how we, in the virtually Atheist United Kingdom are relatively untouched? We made homosexuality legal in 1967, have had abortion (mostly free via our NHS) for decades; women having senior positions in business, politics etc.

Yet, apart from a massive storm in the late 80s, floods a couple of years ago, an (extremely rare) earthquake early last year, and 7/7 in London, we Brits are generally not bothered by the 'wrath' of your so-called 'God'. Why is that? (check one):

[ ] You just happen to have made your home in a part of the world that is affected by natural geological and meteorological events. Coincidence can be such a bitch, eh?
