I went to that church for about 15 years and had to leave. I started reading my BIBLE again. The church is UNITY. New Thought. They claim to be a christian church but you can't find a cross or a bible in the place. You can find plenty of buddah statues and books on eastern religions though. I finally had to just cut my ties with the place."

Survival manual? Most of it is dedicated to violence and bloodshed, usually condoned if not outright ordered by your deity. It doesn't say how to "survive" anything, it says "Believe in this particular god or face the sword. Then burn in Hell for eternity."
