[PBS aired the documentary film After Tiller.]
It's time to defund PBS, an American taxpayer subsidized abortion propaganda machine. Don't take this lightly. PBS is part of the abortion industry's campaign to destigmatize the slaughter of innocent unborn children. If this ever occurs, the million-plus American children destroyed by human abortion every year will skyrocket. What will your legacy be?

Because any documentary which doesn't call abortion "child murder" is promoting abortion.
basic human rights - the Right to Life.
But if you're a woman, controlling your own body is not a basic human right.
*Yeesh* The man was murdered in his church! Even if you're an anti-abortion goober, murder & murder in a church are a huge low!
These dodo's don't care about all those innocent little ones dying in famines or getting slaughtered by the I.S....Nope! They're obsessed with mindless, microscopic zygotes & embryos!
The whole point is not a misguided concern for future proto-kids. The point is controlling people's sexuality...especially those of the feminine persuasion.
If they were truly "pro-life", their "anti-abortion" stuff would also be joined by pro-social safety net, pro-universal healthcare, anti-war, pro-charity, pro-prenatal care/Planned Parenthood, pro-contraception, reforms in the adoption industry, etc.
Unculturedshit's real beef with PBS/NPR is that it's intelligent, intellectual, educational and mostly non-biased. Since reality has a Liberal bias, they'll put it in the same category as the Huffington Post. While I enjoy the H.F. at least I admit the Lefty bias, sensationalist tone & occasional inaccuracies.
News flag: Abortion is LEGAL. It's a constitutionally protected right. PBS doing a story on the restriction abortion rights is no different than their doing a story on the restriction of voting rights, or (gasp!) religious freedom. And there is no stigma to abortion, except in the minds of fundie nutjobs.
Thanks again, cultureshift, for proving to us that you are not "pro-life", but "pro-fetus & anti-everything else".
@breakerslion - cultureshift claims to be an atheist.
I'm pretty sure cultureshift claims not to "encourage" violence, but it's pretty specious because he frequently uses inflammatory rhetoric referring to abortion doctors as murderers or Nazis, and certainly doesn't feel any remorse when they are killed. IIRC once he stated that when a woman dies in a back-alley or self-induced abortion, he feels worse for the "dead baby" than the mother because she was attempting a crime.
What about the innocent born children who are slaughtered in Gaza, in Syria, in Nigeria, in Ukraine? What about the innocent born children dying every day from lack of clean drinking water?
"In the USA, where nearly half of pregnancies are unintended and four in 10 of these are terminated by abortion, there are over 3,000 abortions per day. Twenty-two percent of all pregnancies in the USA (excluding miscarriages) end in abortion."

If you REALLY want to reduce the number of abortions, you need to fix the problem in bold above; provide extensive sexual education to all children around the age of puberty, and make sure that contraceptives are both affordable and accessible to everyone.
yeah, cause murdering someone in a church displays great faith and respect to god.
@spukikikitty
At least some anti-abortion individuals from the faith support that too. At least some parts. Some even equate abortion and capital punishment, thus oppose both. Unfortunately, the debate is mostly taken over guys like this.
There is no "abortion industry". Nobody is making great sums of money doing abortions. Nobody is trying to "destigmatize" it, either. Nobody is in favor of abortions. They just don't want the government sticking its nose into it. A fetus isn't an "innocent unborn child" until it's advanced enough that it would be viable on its own - at which point abortion becomes murder.
I don't suppose there's any chance this putrid asshole actually watched the documentary? ...No, because then he might actually learn something. Dr. Tiller was murdered in cold blood. Yet the murder of a human being is totally inconsequential to the pro-liar movement.
Apparently this shithole is so damn willfully ignorant and blind that he truly believes that if abortion wasn't taboo then women would have abortions whenever all willy-nilly. Only the deluded anti-choicers could believe that by shaming women enough they won't even think about getting an abortion and thus the need for abortions would disappear.
"Contact your congressional representatives today and let them know that you don't want your tax dollars going to an organization that doesn't support basic human rights "
If that's your position PBS is small potatoes: you'll instead want to cut all tax-payer supported financial aid to nations llike Isreal and China.
Because I know, when I want to make a major change to my life, one that will determine what all my efforts will go to, what charismatic ideology I will devote myself to...
I watch PBS.
