“This vote on whether we stop the gay-marriage juggernaut in California is Armageddon,” born-again Watergate felon and Prison Fellowship Ministries founder Chuck Colson told the New York Times. Tony Perkins, the president of the Christian right’s most powerful Beltway lobbying outfit, Family Research Council, echoed Colson’s language. “It’s more important than the presidential election,” Perkins said of Prop 8. “We will not survive [as a nation] if we lose the institution of marriage.”

moral relativism and liberal pretzel logic.

only 50-60 years ago, nuclear family great, kids were a normal outcome of sex, perverts were jailed, animals were pets or on your plate by God’s grace. if you wanted to fool around you paid for your own birth control b/c it was your responsibility for exercising that liberty. and this wasn’t consider just christian thinking, it was inherent common sense for most people across all demographics.

since then the secular experts have abandoned God, and are’going it alone. and the best they come up with is gay parents are better in part b/c no kids, dads aren’t needed anymore, whatever you do if you care about the earth and the rest of us, don’t have kids, and don’t eat animals, but you can screw them. save the planet, abort your baby is their battle cry. and we expect the rest of you to pay for our abortions and contraceptives, we’re morally superior’to you now, don’t you know? we’re saving the planet!

the one thing i’ve prayed for and known I’d have from God saving me , is a sound mind, a mind that can see clearly what is going on around me and know wht’s right from what isn’t. today we’ve fallen so far from just a short time ago, it aparently does take a rocket scientist to know what even secular common sense agreed with God’s word, only 60 years ago.

I believe that Phyllis Schlafly is the most consequential female woman in public policy in the last fifty years of the 20th Century. Had there not been a Phyllis Schlafly, I believe that we wouldn’t have seen a rise of the pro-family movement. Had there not been a rise of the pro-family movement, I don’t believe that there would have been a Ronald Reagan. Without a President Ronald Reagan, I don’t think we would have seen the ability to defeat the evil, and yes that’s what it was, Soviet empire and to bring a conclusion to the Cold War. Just as Ronald Reagan was consequential, Phyllis Schlafly was extremely consequential because she was a tee to tee up this president that we had.

Hello. I found your website and decided to tell you that not only are you wrong but you will burn in hell's fires if you do not change your ways. In hell, there is no funny laughs that will make you happy, instead there will be demons who will laugh as they roast you alive for thousands of years and you will not laugh at all. There are brain worms that will eat away at your brain and you will suffer for a thousand years as they eat your brain alive to make you feel pain. Is this where you want to go when you die? Becaeuse the demons who will cook you slowly and eat your flesh alive for a thousand years, this is what they want. You should consider, because if not someone will kill you soon. I would not, but many I know would kill you and send you to the flesh eating demons in hell.

Peace be with you!!

When will we wake up? Muslims will never be good and loyal Americans (or citizens of any western nation for that matter). They are muslims first and foremost; where they live is just a place to rest and crap on the locals. I say we round them (muslims) up along with all the ileagals and deport them to a point about one thousand miles east of my home of Virginia. The United States are for those who where born here or came here in accordance with the law. Perhaps our European friends could take a similar approach and send their muslims to the same place where they can all tread water together.

Quote# 125654

This article is about the "evil of imagination". I have to cut some parts out to make it shorter

"He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts." Luke 1:51

"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled." 2 Corinthians 10:4-6

"For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty." 2 Peter 1:16

Only one Scripture shows why God created man with the capacity to imagine that which cannot be seen:
“I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You. O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee." 1 Chronicles 29:17-18
The next two verses remind us that what we see and imagine can distract us from truth and entice us to delight in sin and deception:
Jesus said, "But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Matt 5:28
"...each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death." James 1:14-15

You have to understand it's hard to come up with catchy flavor names. "Decadent Capitalist" and "Workers of the World Unite" were just too hard for customers to articulate.

You can just about list their subsequent complaints after reading the first one: "We find the inequality between classes immoral". I guess somebody's been reading Das Capital by Karl Marx. Or Coconuts by Groucho Marx.

Actually there is some truth to their complaint, but in a different way. I find the entirety of the planet "immoral" and needing a Saviour. I only see two "classes": the saved and the lost. On this site we are just as disturbed by that "inequality" as B&J, but I have yet to read a post suggesting that we take our issue to the streets and act like a bunch of hooligans.

God bless this City Hall for not caving in to the idiocy and bullying attempts of the FFRF. There's a new sheriff in town and that stuff is gonna come to a screeching halt once they realize their throwing money into the wind.

This was evidenced by the ACLU losing their attempt to get Ms. Davis to pay their legal fees. Oops! Didn't work out for them and they lost $230,000. Trump is hopefully gonna appoint over 100 judges that will put a stop to all the Unconstitutional rulings whereby godless judges have legislated from the bench by reading into the Constitution what is not there.

The fact is that even if there was a city in this country that wanted to be 100% Christian there is NOTHING in the Constitution that would prevent them from doing so. Meaning they could actually have a Christian Government with Christian officials governing.

That's never gonna happen and I certainly wouldn't advocate for it. Not sure I'd even wanna live there. Just saying the Constitution doesn't prohibit it.

While streaming a video over Periscope last weekend, right-wing pastor Lance Wallnau received a message from a viewer saying that she needed prayers that would help deliver her son from homosexuality. That message prompted Wallnau to recall an incident he heard about recently in which a gay bar owner was supposedly delivered from his life of sin after eating a cake which had been prepared and prayed over by Christians.

As Wallnau told it, there were some “hookers” who used to hang out at a bar who were saved by a fellow patron who had found Christianity. Together, Wallnau said, these individuals “baked a cake for the owner of the bar, who was gay and very adamantly anti-Christian” and prayed over it that he would leave homosexuality.

“It was an anointed cake,” Wallnau said, “and they made the cake and gave it as a gift. And when he ate the cake … the power of God hit him.”

The “presence of God” fell upon the bar owner, Wallnau recounted, and he then got baptized, at which point “the spirit that was working him got broken off,” thus freeing him from his life of homosexuality.

Maricopa County burnished its reputation as the Trumpiest in America last weekend as hundreds of locals, including heavily armed militamen, white nationalists and even a few elected officials, gathered to support the 45th president. The ensuing "March for Trump" was as horrifying as it sounds.

"I heard 'Lock her up, lock her up,' and we still need to pursue that," announced Arizona Rep. Anthony Kern; a nod to a prominent Trump campaign promise to imprison then-Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

"If you don't like it here, go to Syria, go to someplace else," one attendee shouted.

"I don't want 'em, as a veteran I don't want 'em, let 'em go back home," another seconded. "If they've got a problem, let Saudi Arabia take care of 'em."

Some even dared to tell Dan Cohen of the Real News Network how they'd make America great again now that Trump is in office. And Muslims weren't the only religious minority unwelcomed.

"If she's Jewish, she should go back to her country," a 13-year-old Trump supporter said of a protester.

"This is America, we don't want Sharia law," one attendee explained. "Christian country," he added.

One man insisted that Senator John McCain was a "secret communist."

"I think there's a lot there," another said of Pizzagate, a deranged right-wing conspiracy theory claiming that Clinton's campaign chairman John Podesta ran a child prostitution ring out of a Washington, D.C. pizzeria. "Definitely enough to warrant an investigation."

The day's proceedings would grow uglier still.

"I just want to let them know that I can't wait for the liberal genocide to begin," an Oath Keeper shouted at a small group of protesters.

"That's the way to make America great again," he later told Cohen. "Liberals are destroying the country."

The non-Calvinist might also say that the unfairness of Calvinism is in God creating Booker for the purpose of sending him to hell. In other words, under Calvinism, God actually wants Booker in hell—which seems unloving—whereas under a non-Calvinist view God lovingly wants him in heaven but is limited by what Booker himself will do.

I’ll talk about why the idea that God cannot create a world in which Booker chooses salvation is absurd some other time. For now, let’s suppose that’s true. How does that help the non-Calvinist?

Is it loving or fair for God, under freewill theism, to create Booker, knowing he will suffer eternal conscious punishment? What does it even mean to say that God wants Booker to be saved? Given that the choice is between creating him for eternal death, or not creating him at all, isn’t the only loving option to not create him?

Now of course, the non-Calvinist is welcome to say that God has some overriding reason to create Booker. The world in which Booker goes to hell, perhaps, is overall a better world than one without him, or one where he is saved. But that mimics the Calvinist’s argument! Under Calvinism, it is better that God be glorified through Booker’s reprobation than for Booker to be saved or not exist at all. The end for which God creates Booker is not reprobation itself. He does not want Booker in hell for its own sake, but rather for the purpose of revealing his perfection. A non-Calvinist might disagree about God’s ultimate goal, but his position remains functionally identical to Calvinism, and therefore offers no justification whatsoever for thinking that double predestination is unfair or unloving.

To cool Ranger fever in your home, try asking some leading age-appropriate questions. For example:

* What is the source of the Power Rangers' power?
* How do they get their supernatural power?
* Who gets the credit for winning the battles?
* Does someone in the program pretend to be God?
* Did you see magic symbols or occult charms?
* What does God's Word tell us about these kinds of powers?

God tells us to "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6) This means helping your child build a biblical world view, a mental framework based on God's Word not the world's distortions. Viewing the world through the filter of truth, your child will accept what God loves, discern what He hates, and enjoy the safety He offers those who follow Him.

Since young children soak up images along with words--without much analysis or evaluation, their understanding of the world will be formed by the most fun, forceful, and persistent messages they receive. Children raised on daily diets of biblical truth will recognize and resist occult images. But daily doses of Power Ranger magic with its pulsating rock beat will reduce their resistance to deception. Fantasy or not, the repeated themes and occult context of most contemporary cartoons will train their minds to believe the timeless lies that have always drawn people from truth to myths.

[Comment under "Ranked Societies"]

how they work

Your rank with in society would decide what rights you have, and how much you are allowed to earn and own. Moving between the ranks depends on your occupation, worth to society and the feats you have accomplished, for example a person from one of the lower ranks who invents a great invention would be upgraded to one of the higher ranks of society.

how muchs ranks there would be

It depends on the person, I personally think 6-10 ranks is enough, but some people argue for more or less ranks.

Any example of their implementation would also be appreciated.

I don't think a pure ranked system like some fascists advocate has been implemented yet, but close examples could be ancient Greece and Rome, and other ancient societies.

Quote# 125623

There is a fine line between moral values versus moral duties. We can sell everything we own and give it to the poor for example. This is an expression of good moral values, but a very poor one that negatively impacts. We do not have an obligation to endanger ourselves to do good works. If that was the case, then anything that we do that is self-serving is morally wrong. Take for instance when the disciples chastised the woman who poured an expensive perfume on Jesus. They said, “Fool! That perfume should have been sold and given to the poor!” Jesus replied by saying that the poor will always be with you and essentially told them to leave her alone and that it’s okay to do things that are self-serving. A stronger example is the story of the Good Samaritan. The man helped his wounded enemy, (who posed no threat to him) brought him to a neutral location at the inn (not his own home-which could potentially pose a threat to his children and wife), and then paid the inn keeper cost and then some to take care of him.

This is a stark contrast to bringing in a refugee population that poses threats to our national security. We would be bringing in not just women and children, but also able-bodied, fighting age men into this country with no idea of who they are or what they believe. That is why President Trump has issued a 3 month ban from 7 countries proven to have large terror cells. That is not a Muslim ban considering 90% of the Muslim population can still freely visit the U.S. The ban has only affected less than a thousand of the hundreds of thousands of people traveling to this country. This is what the Good Samaritan would do. The Good Samaritan would also advocate safe zones which are immensely cheaper to pay for and more effective while eliminating potential threats to our citizens. Everyone needs to remember that this is TEMPORARY until we have established proven vetting measures that protect the American people from radical Islamic terrorism. Let’s put to rest the false narratives that this is a Muslim ban and that this is bigotry or that Christians are being hypocrites. 48% of this country supports the travel ban. That 48% is not a bunch of racist lunatics; they are rational human beings that take national security very seriously and remember the tragedies of San Bernardino, Orlando, Fort Hood, and so many other attacks.

Quote# 125616

2. Fantasy and imagination can transform beliefs and values more quickly than reality. Many of our readers defend their love for occult entertainment with this standard justification: "I know the difference between reality and fantasy." But it doesn't matter! Know it or not, persuasive fiction and virtual experience can change minds and plant lasting memories more effectively than actual experience!

Popular fantasies, with their boundless thrills and unforgettable images, bypass logical thinking. Their subtle suggestions face little conscious resistance. Designed to stir feelings and produce strong emotional responses, they create new realities in today's "open" minds! As Harvard Professor Chris Dede, a global leader in the development of education technology programs, wrote, "Sensory immersion helps learners grasp reality through illusion."[4]

But what kind of "reality" will "learners" find through illusion? And how do those illusions shape their lives? These Scriptures give us a clue:

"For as he thinks in his heart, so is he." Proverbs 23:6

"...they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart..." Jeremiah 11:8
"Jesus said, 'You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Matthew 5:27-28

"Do not be deceived. ...he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life." Galatians 6:7-8
