Whether or not we landed on the moon is disputable. The images purportedly taken on and from the moon are certainly falsified, having been taken on Earth. The evidence of the pictures and movies being faked is incontrovertible. That does not mean that they didn't make it to the moon though, just that the images are not from there.

No it isn't. And the rest of what you said has been disproven time and time again. They weren't falsified, they weren't taken on Earth and the fact that you think that's the case proves how confused about the world you are.
Also, we have the moon rocks, we win.
One of the things Congress used to be good at was investigative committees. The thousands of people employed on a "space program," the resources of the armed services channeled into faking trips to the moon, teaching those thousands of people the story and then bribing them to keep quiet, ensuring that all those involved stuck to the story in every last detail for the rest of their lives...Given the government couldn't keep the Iran-Contra deal from Congress, wouldn't this be a bit much to hide?
I love your "let's compromise" approach to conspiracy theories.
"No, no, I'm not saying we DIDN'T go to the moon, 'cause we totally did. I'm just saying that Neil Armstrong left the lens cap on his camera and they had to fake the photos back on Earth! Is that so hard to believe?"
I'm disappointed in you, Ellis Dee.
@Teapot:
A friend of mine who is way into CTs has arrived at just that same stage a few years ago.
As he was presented with more and more evidence for the moon landings (by myself and others), he changed his position one step at the time (each change accompanied by assurances that he always really thought that way*) from “total hoax” to “rocket just started for show” to finally “they were on the moon, but the footage and pictures are still fake”. Nowadays he just avoids the subject. Maybe we are witnessing the death throes of that particular conspiracy theory?
*He did the same with the “Maya prophecy” thing, as the 21st December 2012 came nearer
"Whether or not we landed on the moon is disputable."
Only by the ignorant or stupid.
The Soviet Union, who had a rather large interest in the subject, as well as the means to independently verify large portions of the story, did not deny the moon landings. Why is that?
OK, so they may have landed on the moon, but they faked all the pictures and video anyway?
Sounds like something someone on 'shrooms would say. Oh wait...

Hardly. One thing about conspiracy theories is that they never die. Look at all the JFK assassination theorists still around, and rehashing old theories to sell books now that the 50th anniversary is coming up.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
