["Thoughts on pro choicers who become midwives/OBs? Do you think that they can do the job as well as someone who actually values the baby's life?"]
Consider this: would you want someone to babysit your toddler who had killed thousands of other toddlers and planned to kill thousands more in the years to come? For the same reason, I would never want a pro-choice OB/GYN to touch my unborn child. If you are pregnant and Pro-Life, you should never go near a pro-choice OB/GYN.
["What if the pro choice OB or midwife doesn't perform abortions? Are they still trustworthy to deliver babies?"]
Knowing that they believe that an unborn child should be killed ‘on demand and without apology’, how can you know that they would do everything possible to save an unborn child’s life if everything possible needed to be done? How do you know that they wouldn’t simply tell the mother of that child that she should abort because it’s the easier and less expensive option?
You can’t know. That’s why I would never let a pro-choice OB/GYN near my unborn child. Never.

Kind of like Abraham, who is considered a hero to Jews, Christians and Muslims because of his unquestioning willingness to murder his own son? Should people who think Abraham was a good man be allowed to have children at all?
Do you really think there are mobs of OB/GYNs mobbing the streets with their butcher knifes looking for pregnant women to abort? Are you really that stupid?
Give it up, chump, and find a hobby that doesn't impugn on women's constitutional rights.
The important word there is "choice", stupid. To keep a pregnancy going is one of those choices. Before women had rights of their own, young women "in trouble" were sometimes forced to undergo abortion. Quite a few of them became sterile from poorly performed procedures.
Most pro-choice care about the quality of life for the baby (post-birth). If you don't think you can provide a future child with a decent life, you might consider to give it up and wait a couple of years when you might be more ready.
Most of the people I know are pro-choice (heck, most Swedes are pro-choice), but I don't know one single person who thinks that unborn children should be killed on demand and without apology. Every single pro-choice person that I know think that abortion is a bad option, but that there are sometimes even worse options. It might be the lesser of two evils, so to speak.
Most of them don't believe that an unborn child should be killed on demand and without apology’, no they believe that there are cases where abortion is needed and necessary and that choice should be available.
I get that if you paint your opponents as heartless monsters you don't have to see them as human. However that does not make you better.
1) Midwives and OB/GYNs assist at birth. Virtually all abortions are illegal at that stage, carried out only to save the physical or mental health of the mother.
2) Abortion is not "on demand." The pro-life lobby speaks - and shows pictures - giving the impression that third trimester abortions are the norm when, in most cases, the law forbids them and even those that are medically necessary at that stage are a tiny proportion of all abortions.
3) Midwives and OB/GYNs, whatever their beliefs work according to their professional code of ethics and the law. That means they respect your choice and do everything possible to make it happen. If they did not act that way, they would be banned from practising and maybe prosecuted.
This is not medical advice; this is scaremongering.
Personally, I wouldn't go near an OB/GYN who opposes my right to control my own body, particularly since some anti-choice doctors state outright that their first priority in an emergency is the life of the fetus over that of the woman.
People (including doctors) who are pro-choice feel the way they do because they care about women AND children. They care about the woman's right to her own body and about any potential child's right to a loving, stable home where s/he can be adequately provided for. While you, on the other hand, operate solely on your fetish for the embryo, while doing everything you can to see to that children born into to poor circumstances starve along with their slut-shamed mothers.
I would never want a pro-choice OB/GYN to touch my unborn child.
You don't understand the term "pro-choice" do you?
how can you know that they would do everything possible to save an unborn child’s life if everything possible needed to be done?
Because they would support that if it was your choice. See first response.
Uh huh. Because it's better to have a "pro-life" doctor who would rather you die or become infertile or risk your life in any number of ways than even consider aborting a pregnancy. History has shown us not to trust them with women's health.
This dick for brains quite obviously has no clue as to what being pro-choice is. No OB/GYN would suggest a woman get an abortion because it's the "easier and less expensive option." They do not perform an abortion because they have some creepy abortion fetish, ffs.
Let me get this straight here, you think somebody pro-choice will relentlessly try to convince you to terminate or failing that snatch a live baby - as opposed to an undeveloped fetus - and just strangle it to death for fun?
Listen crazy person, first off the operative word in pro-choice is "choice" meaning they're not going to push you into anything. Contrary to idiot opinion Planned Parenthood and similar services only discuss abortion as the last resort (if it's discussed at all) putting much more emphasis on prenatal and early childcare. At the time a baby is ready to be delivered abortion is clear off the table unless fatal complications are involved. Fatal complications often mean that the fetus is lost either way but threatens to take mommy with it. Beyond that any doctor worth their medical license does their damndest for every patient under their care... unless they work for an HMO.

I want someone to babysit my toddler who had killed thousands of unborn children. A toddler has been out for more than a year. Pro-choice does not have anything to do with killing toddlers.
Confused?
