What do I say here? So much has gone on in the last few days. First I guess is that my heart goes out to the families to those who have passed then encouragement to those who watch over those that cling to life.
Who do we blame for this act of terror; ISIS, the gun, the shooter, maybe all of the above a little? I also blame the LGBT community in general. We have had their agenda forced upon us so much here lately they may have painted targets of hate upon their backs.

LGBT persons don't have to *do* anything to get 'targets of hate upon their backs'; they only have to exist while LGBT.
We've also had the fundamentalist Christian agenda forced upon us lately, but nobody's painted targets of hate on their backs. Of course, being a fundie is a choice; being LGBT is not. Which is worse -- being hated for a choice, or for something you have no control over?
Jewish scriptures commanding the deaths of gay men have been around for four thousand years. It most likely wasn't a new idea when they were written. The ideologically driven genocide of gay people is at least four thousand years old, but no, no; it's totally their fault trying to stop themselves from being murdered and practically driven from society. If they stopped trying to prevent the murders of gay people, people would totally stop murdering them. That's how reality works where I'm from, apparently.

1- Allowing nutcases to have automatic weapons.
2- The NRA are still opposed to background checks.

You have to blame both Daesh and al-Qaeda, then, as the shooter claimed ties with both, days before the act, even though they are rivaling groups. The shooter is to blame for the act itself, as he was the perpetrator. The fact that he could buy an assault rifle even though he was under investigation by the FBI, is to blame for the amount of dead people. If he had had a revolver, he would have had to reloaded after half-a-dozen shots, and could perhaps have been over-powered...
The LGBT "agenda" is to have the same rights that the rest of us take for granted. They oughtn't to be killed for wanting that, surely?
What has been forced upon society is the agenda of white, rich, Christian middle-aged men; they're apparently the only ones who have the right to have rights. The rest of us are usurpers of THEIR rights when we demand equal rights and equal treatments.

Fuck you. Wanting to be treated equally is not pushing an agenda. You're the ones pushing an agenda.
Would you say the same thing if Christians were targeted instead? No one is forcing anyone to be gay, but you lot make no secret that you want to force your own laws unto the rest of us. Some loon might well decide to take matters into his own hands. And his justification could be exactly what you said about gays. There is no justification for murder, and trying to justify it against one particular group, is very much a two edged sword.

Andy, a lot of the blame (maybe most of it) goes to those who preach hate against gays, whether Christian hatred or Muslim hatred. It takes somebody pretty small and shriveled of heart to blame the victims. Look in the mirror; a share of the blame is yours.

People made the same comments about desegregation and the "negro agenda". The targets are put there by bigots, not their victims.
