Ahh, the acrid taste of an idiot vomiting out the argument from essentialism. "I'm not essentially a racist and that racist guy over there isn't essentially a racist. Since we have other facets we're free from blame."

Essentialism is the great scam. If you're not actively a Nazi or Klansman you can't be racist. But you are. You are by action, not essence. Yes, me too, sometimes. My family too. We're great folks... And still tell racist jokes sometimes. Chinese jokes, when my dad is part Chinese. Grandpa was not actively but passively negative towards blacks, a Comanche-Hispanic man who was a barely-English-speaking immigrant. Essentialism is how the salt-right goes undercover. Our actions are racist, and add up enough of them and you become a Frankensteinian racist made of all your failures at humanity, a monument to your own sins. Trump is quite the beacon of hopelessness with all the things he's stitched together.

This is ridiculous. Think logically. Post Civil War freed black needed jobs. Sharecropping was a saturated market and with all the destruction land was sort of... destroyed. But that West sure needed dudes. Given population percentages a quarter is frankly astounding. That made the occupation out of proportion to the population percentage. That's incredible and awesome. We need more black cowboys. There's one in that great John Wayne movie, "The Cowboys."
