Why is it that the same agenda for gay rights (a secular agenda) defends the absolute protection of Islam (a spiritual one)? Don’t you find it interesting that in today’s America that gay rights and Islam have become interesting bedfellows? In countries where Islam is the dominant religion, gay rights are squashed with killings and brutal treatment of gays.
The reason for this bizarre unity is because this is not a secular battle, but a spiritual one. This battle was first waged in heaven and now rages here on earth. The Apostle John described this in his vision of Revelation:
“So the dragon (Satan) was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus” (12:17, parenthesis added).
What we are witnessing in the world today is simply a battle between God and the devil. We know: We’re crazies now because we say this, but it’s true. And don’t forget that Saul Alinsky’s book, “Rules for Radicals,” is dedicated to Satan. This is where the much of the agenda to fight against traditional American values can be found. So Alinsky even recognized the truth of our claim.

Because when we say "Equal rights for all" we mean equal rights for *all*, not equal rights for all those the fundies say are okay.

Quoted for truth.
Why is it that the same agenda against gay rights (a christian agenda) agrees with Islam (a sharia one)? Don’t you find it interesting that in today’s America that christians and Islam have become interesting bedfellows? In countries where Islam is the dominant religion, gay rights are squashed with killings and brutal treatment of gays.
Demonstrably false. Many secularists like Sam Harris, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Ali Rizvi, Sarah Haider, and countless others support gay rights for ALL cultures.
Why does the same agenda for gay rights defend absolute protection of Islam?
Because this agenda is imaginary, created by homophobes who see what they want to see?
Perhaps you mistake the fight for equal civil rights for all, with an imaginary "agenda" for only gays and Islam?

Homosexuality punishable by death in Iran & Saudi Arabia. Homosexuals pushed off high roofs by ISIS.
I find it more interesting how that load of BS spewed by Jase & Dave (who have become interesting bedfellows! [/Freud]) can be destroyed by the simple appliocation of '[citation Seriously Fucking needed]'.
Would you ally yourselves with those who would want to eliminate your very existence, fundies? Well, there y'go. And your argument is invalid .

What exactly do you want to do with Muslims that's allowed by the First Amendment?
Gay rights and Islam go together only in the sense that your religion is against both of them. Let's throw in women's rights, immigration, vaccination, public schools, evolution, sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll.....er.....rap music. That satan sure is a busy guy, isn't he?
Except they're not bedfellows at all. Muslims are violently sadistic pedophiles who despise gays and want to murder and rape them all. Gay people aren't, and unlike Muslims, gays are actually moral people who don't want murder and rape.

The 'gay agenda' doesn't actually have anything to do with Islam, as it is exclusively about obtaining equal rights for gay people. What may be causing confusion is that quite a number of people who subscribe to this idea also subscribe to the idea of equality for all - which, of course, includes the right of Muslims to follow Islam. However, even this is not an 'absolute protection' of Islam, only those parts and/or interpretations that do not infringe on the rights of others, and the idea that Islam mandates the killing or brutal treatment of gay people would definitely be something that infringes on the rights of others.
@ Anon-e-Moose
It's very telling that the two fundies here mention a book that is supposed to work in the favor of low income communities to help them. Of course it's dedicated to Satan in your eyes boys, because we wouldn't want the poor people to get uppity now would we?
Does 'traditional American values" include fucking over low income and poverty ridden communities in your eyes Jason? It sure doesn't in mine.
Jesus wouldn't be happy with you that's for sure.
@ NeoMatrix
You're quickly ascending on my "Lulz worthy troll list" alongside cammy-poo and Jerry. Please continue your good work in the being a bigoted asshole category.
You provide quality entertainment for us.
@ Kuno.
Probably not, Muslims however tend to be quite nice people if on the consertative side.
@1873064
And what would that prove, exactly? That some Muslims are violent and homophobic? We knew that already. Considering that American citizens have carried out several terrorist attacks, does that make everybody in America a terrorist? No? Then why should we treat Muslims any differently? Oh, right. They're different, and that makes them scary.
@Kuno
Yes I have, in fact. Many of them seem nice on the surface, but that doesn't make fundamentally make them better, especially considering they worship an 8th century pedophile warlord.
To be fair though, they wouldn't really be Muslims if they have a sense of compassion and humanity, since actual Muslims lack humanity.
@brazenTyrant
Actually, Americans are mostly terrorists too, considering so many of them are fundie Christians.
@brazenTyrant
That just means that the Christians are starting to get weaker and people need to fight them even harder, cause they're probably gonna try to take over soon. More people are starting to throw off Christian lies and become decent human beings.
That's a good thing - the fewer violent right wing pedophiles in this country, the better.
@NeoMatrix:
Ah, so you are capable of reading other people’s minds now. And trying to de-humanize people you don’t like has of course always been a responsible and rational tactic
And Americans are mostly terrorists because they have many fundie Christians, except that they aren’t. Logic, everyone!
Is it just me or are NeoMatrix’s attempts at getting a rise out of people more and more obvious and desperate?
We’re crazies now because we say this, but it’s true
You're quite definitely crazy, that much is true.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
