So, now we know that the water in the Moon rocks came from Earth. And we already knew that the Moon rocks came from Earth. At what point is it going to become sufficiently obvious that the "Moon landings" were filmed on Earth?
What more is required, signed confessions from Stanley Kubrick and Neil Armstrong?
There is no scientific evidence that Man landed on the Moon, after all. Since the scientific evidence points quite clearly to the various "lunar" objects having a terrestrial origin, then must we not, as good rational scientific materialists, conclude that Man never landed on the Moon?

@christian_leftie: he'll either claim that the mirrors were planted by robots or that the mirrors themselves are a hoax, since he himself has never seen them and doesn't know anyone else who has.
This will probably be a useful link for this thread.

Ya just gotta luv these guys.
"Land on the Moon in the late 60's using the scientific and engineering resources of a huge nation, spending billions of dollars, no holds barred? Impossible!!"
"Have one guy and his sons build an arc and fill it with pairs and every animal on the face of the Earth a few thousand years B.C., against the opposition of his community? Of course!"
Millions of people were involved in launching the Saturn V and the Apollo missions, handling mission control, and monitoring the flight. Yet not one person has ever "blown the whistle" on what would have to be the largest conspiracy of all time that would include our then political rivals the Soviets. And yet there are still people who believe in the conspiracy. I weep for humanity.
They say that the geology of the east coast of South America is more or less the same as that of the west coast of Africa. This can only mean that the Atlantic Ocean does not exist and I can finally start my hiking tour from Nairobi to Rio De Janero(sp?)!
What do you mean, plate tectonics? Hogwash, bring me my hiking boots!
So not only is Vox Day a fundie misogynist, now he's also a moon landing hoaxer?
Just when I thought he couldn't get any more idiotic.

Yes, another celestial body collided with the proto-Earth, and both formed into what is now Earth & the Moon. And as proven by what was brought back in one of the Apollo missions, the 'Genesis Rock'...:

...have we determined that the Earth isn't 6,000 years old according to YECers bullshit, but is 4.5 billion years old, as this matches precisely with dated rocks here.
Just this xenogeological example alone completely annihilates Creationism, and this was decades before Kitzmiller vs. Dover did the same biologically.
...oh, and just one word completely annihilates the whole 'Man didn't land on the Moon' tinfoil (ass)hatters' arse gravy:
Reflectors.
What more is required, signed confessions from Stanley Kubrick and Neil Armstrong?
That, at least, would prove you right, if it existed. But there's nothing "moon landing deniers" would accept as proof they were wrong - short of sending them to the moon themselves to see the footprints and the flag - and even then, they'd just say that those things were planted there last year, not 1969. Even the presence of the reflectors which were planted there by Apollo 11 and can and have been accessed by amateurs won't convince them. So it's pointless to argue with them.
He doesn't believe the Moon landings were a hoax. He's making a point about (probably) evolution (or rather, he THINKS he's making a point).
Thing is though, there's so much wrong with this individual anyway that if he really were a moon-hoax conspiracy theorist it wouldn't matter.
For the record, here is the sentence he is basing his statement on:
"Researchers found evidence for water inside the glass droplets [in the moon rocks] in earlier work but the latest study goes further, showing that the lunar water is chemically identical to that on ancient Earth."
So now VD's denying the moon landings?
Well, at least we didn't get another of his disturbingly sexist rants.
Neil Degrasse Tyson,
"Atop 3000 tons of rocket fuel, where else could the astronauts be headed."
You can't say the rocket never took off. If you're going through that much effort to fake something, you might as well try to do it.
Also, if Nasa were willing to fake big accomplishments, they'd probably have another one by now.
One of the first things I ever looked at on the Internet, besides pictures of Pamela Anderson, was a long debunking of the idea that the moon landing was faked, I think on the NASA website. Dunno if it's still there.
But the evidence presented there was, to me, completely conclusive. They had impressive panoramic shots of the moon surface, and all kinds of other very persuasive evidence.
Confused?
