But then, this is what happens when you don't allow others to influence how you think - especially via pastors, least of all theologically illiterate radio presenters (just name one who's a Professor of Theology at, say, Yale, Harvard, or Oxford & Cambridge Universities).
Thinking for yourself - via learning things for yourself. Looking up things on your own: Research.
Infinitely superior to being fed & bled like the sheeple you fundies are. And from the point of view of your pastor - and said radio presenters - A little knowledge is a dangerous thing indeed. Ergo, the US is purely a secular country. The US Constitution itself proves it. QED.
