"Global warming may affect some parts of our society negatively but would likely benefit others. In fact, the current warming trend may be returning our global climate closer to that prevalent in the Garden of Eden."

Global warming does have benefits. But its harmful effects are far worse. Unless, of course, when the world is fucked by Global Warming, you can then claim the Rapture is here.
Institute for Creation Research... What a joke.
Absolutely! Because hurricanes, tsunamis, and massive floods were so freaking common in the Garden of Eden, right?
Then again, it may be returning Earth to the state prevalent at the time of Noah's flood.
And maybe I skipped that page in Genesis, but I don't remember the Garden of Eden having so many f**king mosquitoes!
When you have no crops and you're suffering from, actually, harsh winters and scorching summers, you'll tell us if that's what you call "paradise"
...BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
I can only think of two good things coming from global warming - a northwest passage, and fossil hunting in the melting permafrost. But hey, we all know it'll be worth the billions of lives changed permanently, the crazy weather, the rise in poverty, the increase in global conflict, etc.
Wait a minute, at 'the time of' the Garden of Eden wasn't the total population of the world two ?!
I guess Larry here must think he's going to be one of the 'two'. In which case I do hope the other survivor is Bro. Randy!
Good thinking except that:
A. The Garden of Eden is a location in a fictional tale.
B. Even if the Garden of Eden WAS real, you have no idea where it might have been. The locators given in Genesis make no sense.
C. Saying that "the current warming trend MAY be returning our global climate closer to that prevalent in the Garden of Eden" simply means that you don't have any idea what the global climate was in the supposed era of the Garden of Eden.
Someone hasn't heard of unexpected (well, it's expected, but not soon enough) catastrophic weather.
Which means he's been living under a rock for the past five years.
What an idiot.
Apparently, we will drown from the ocean levels rising in the Garden of Eden. Oh, and forget life. Life doesn't even fuckin' EXIST.
Then again, that would mean fundies wouldn't exist. Sounds like Eden to me.

Nothin' to say to that.
I would say that it will do a great deal more harm then benefit.
And how do you "research" something for which absolutely no scientific evidence or support exists?
and I'm not sure that the Bible said anything specific about the climate of the Garden of Eden.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
