[Book review for "God's Gift to Women"]
Eric Ludy Deep within the rugged soul of every young man, there is a warrior in search of his sword and a poet in search of his pen. But heroic, prince-like masculinity is something most women only dream of in today's perverse and self-serving world. With contagious passion and boldness, Eric Ludy challenges you to forsake modern male mediocrity for Christ-built, warrior-poet manhood-manhood that will capture the heart of a woman and change the course of history.

Manhood-manhood? Ah, I get it. It takes two penises to capture the heart of a woman (thereby changing the course of history somehow), but one of them may be a phallus, such as a sword or a pen. This book must be a list of suitable substi-cocks.
There, I just saved you thirteen dollars.
With my sword,
I slay the horde,
I fight than back,
To whence they came,
I am a warrior and a poet the same.
Ooh i cant wait to see the ladies queuing up.
Oh, MAG, you mean that "manhood-manhood" should not be using a hyphen, but an em dash? That makes a lot more sense. Unfortunately, a lot of programs on the 'Net (including this one) tend to turn em dashes into mere hyphens, resulting in confusion like this.
As for the content of the post, it's pretty amusing, not much more ridiculous than the blurbs of other romance-oriented self-help books except for the connection being made to a figure who is anything but romantic (except perhaps in the purely metaphorical literary sense).

Or he watches too much hentai.

I suppose that's why Christian rap and Christian rock are so shit. They need to unleash their internal manhood, and stop whining about how much they love Jesus...
Exactly what I was thinking, MJW. I mean, I have run into songs from secular bands that can serve the role of pro-christian song better than typical christian rock songs. Check out 'After Forever', 'Children of the Grave', 'Into the Void' and 'Heaven and Hell' by Black Sabbath; 'Holy Diver' and 'Sacred Heart' by Dio; 'Simple Kind of Man' by Lynyrd Skynyrd; 'Paradise City' by Guns and Roses; 'Dragontown', 'Disgraceland', 'It's much too late', 'Cleansed by Fire', 'Unholy War' by Alice Cooper; 'Stairway to Heaven' by Led Zeppelin; 'Damien' series of songs and 'The Prayer' series of songs by DMX. I feel with just these, I am scratching the surface.

What the hell is "warrior-poet manhood"? Sounds like it requires copious amounts of Astroglide.
Well, that and the inktube from a ballpoint pen-the ball point part included-as well as incredible skill writing with your dick. This guy already shows the latter...
I love blurbs and trailers that end with "change the course of history"
Especially if, as in this instance, history won't care at all.
"Manhood-manhood"? Dude, it's 2011, not all women need big manly men to sweep them off their feet. Heck, some of them might like a little role reversal. Ever think of that, would-be warrior-poet?
Isn't being meek and mediocre supposed to be the Christian ideal? Men being perpetually servile to Christ and women being even more servile than that, making desiring a man at all a sin? Furthermore, wouldn't attempting to become a dashing, charismatic, influential, scholar/warrior only be an exercise in pride and an insult to Jesus?
You... Just... Suck.
Confused?
