Now today we like to say that God’s love is unconditional. No, it’s really not. The term “unconditional love” isn’t in the Bible, and God has always hammered the point that His love is extremely conditional. He starts off loving us, but if we don’t meet His requirements for keeping His love, He’ll start hating us instead. He’ll hate us, kill us, and throw us into Hell where He’ll get high off of torturing us for eternity.

In other words:
If we don't do exactly what he says he will go from loving us to hating us and use pain and torture, that he will get a high off of, to have us regret ever questioning him! No, not at all like an abusive spouse, where did you get that idea?
Or
Our love must be unconditional, because his isn't
"He'll get high off of torturing us for eternity"
Wait, so human suffering is God's cocaine? Is that why rhe world's so fucked up? God just needed a fix and Hell wasn't enough? Is that why he still allows you to vomit your mind onto the internet to torture us with your stupid mindless hatred and bigotry under the guise of "divine inspiration?" That... actually makes a lot of sense. And it gives me an idea for a book...
I'll... I'll be back later.
She's actually got a point here, if you understand Christianity. God loves us as long as we follow a strict, convoluted set of rules. And if you don't follow them to the letter then he sends you to burn for eternity in the lake of fire. That's what all Christians believe, it's just that Anna has the guts to admit it. But you can't say that God loves you as he sends you to be tortured for eternity.
Of course, why anyone would worship and love such a monster is beyond me.
I don't remember who said(a roman emperor, perhaps?) :
Live a just life.
If your God is just, he will reward you.
If your God is not just, he does not deserve your devotion.
If your God does not exist, you'll have lived a just life.
The important thing for Anna(who did read the Bible better than 99,99% of Christians) is "If your God is not just, he does not deserve your devotion "
if we don’t meet His requirements for keeping His love, He’ll start hating us instead
Why? Do you expect love and worship from the ants on your lawn? Why would the Lord of the Universe care what some puny humans thought? All Anna's doing is convincing people that God is mentally ill.
++"He starts off loving us"
Not only is that false by the words of the book -- original sin making us deserving of death and all that -- but it's not even in keeping with Anna's own ranting in previous posts.
Actually, no. That was the point of the whole crucifixtion thing that you might have heard about. Believe, ask forgiveness, and you're in. Try to keep up.
Thank-you for being honest, Anna; it makes a change from your ilk. Now, would you kindly go jump off a cliff before I'm racked with depression from reading about your envious, possessive, immature deity?
So...your God is an abusive, sadistic, co-dependent psychopath who dishes out suffering and evil to people for even the slightest of infractions, demands their fawning servility and their constant adoration not just in spite of this but because of it, and will spend the rest of eternity gleefully torturing them out of pure unadulterated spite if they don't give it to him.
And it actually surprises you that virtually no one sane actually wants to believe in, much less worship, this hellish, malevolent entity? If you actually believe this, and you had even one, tiny sliver of human empathy, you wouldn't be angry at them for refusing to take you seriously, as you have repeatedly said in your posts--you'd be wishing like hell YOU could join them in their unbelief.
In the situation you envision, the only remotely sane thing any thinking being could possibly want would be to immediately cease to exist upon death, or at least be allowed to spend the rest of eternity without any kind of conscious awareness, because eternity is a really long time...and how long do you think it will be before Murdergod decides to turn his attentions to the ones he DIDN'T condemn to Hell out of sheer boredom? Or are you actually HOPING that Murdergod cores out the last tiny bits of your humanity and turns you into a perfect, soulless mirror-image reflection of his own nature?
The term “unconditional love” isn’t in the Bible
No, but the concept is:
Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me. (Isaiah 49:15-6)
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)
So he was lying when he said he was "slow to anger, quick to mercy?" Actually, scratch that, Anna Diehl's god is unbounded by what humans understand as "morality", so we can't believe anything he says (including those things that Diehl attributes to him).
He starts off loving us, but if we don’t meet His requirements for keeping His love, He’ll start hating us instead. He’ll hate us, kill us, and throw us into Hell where He’ll get high off of torturing us for eternity.
And this is why I'm a Satanist.
Confused?
