Hm, he is right about higher oxygen levels in earths past (palaeozoic era), allowing life to grow bigger (giant insects for example).
Of course unlike his belief, no humans were around at this time and therefore no bones of them have been found (better for them, they would have been scared by the huge insects :D )
...there used to be more oxygen...
No there wasn't.
...which allowed life to grow much bigger...
Oxygen in excess of what we currently have would have had negative effects on both animal and plant life. Quite apart from the fact that an increase in the oxygen content would poison animals and bring on a nadir of plant life, even very small sparks (or Jehovah's favorite weapon--lightning) would have caused wildfires of unprecedented scale.
As a side note, the elephant is one of (if not the) largest land animal currently in existence on this planet. The oxygen content we have now suits them just fine; so the notion that extra oxygen allows "giants" is fallacious.
You f***ing imbecile.
"giants have been scientifically and biblicaly proven, there used to be more oxygen which allowed life to grow much bigger "
Kent Hovind is not a scientist.

Stop using Hovind's debunked bullshit. And photoshop enhanced pictures do not count as scientific proof. Maybe it's proof enough for you fundies, but that's a whole other story.
Fee, Fie, Foe, Fum,
I smell the bullshit of fundiedom.
Actually, I think the "proof" of this comes from experiments done at the Creation Evidence Museum in Glenn Rose Texas. If you ever have an hour or so to kill and you are in the Fort Worth area, you should check it out. Its a hoot. I bought a fossilized human finger there that was found in the skeleton of a dinosaur.
Oxygen levels reached their all-time peak in the Permian period of the Paleozoic era (299 to 251 mya), reaching approximately 30% by volume of the Earth's atmosphere (current level is just under 21%). They then declined, in the early Triassic, to some 16%. So, yeah, oxygen levels were higher, but loooong before there were any mammals.
Insects and other arthropods did grow bigger in the Permian, but not because higher oxygen levels make things grow bigger generally. The upper limit on arthropod size is constrained by their breathing apparatus, which becomes progressively more inefficient the larger the creature is; higher oxygen levels allowed their breathing to function at higher levels of inefficiency than now ... hence the 12 metre long millipedes and so on.
"bones have been found "
You mean all of those photoshopped hoaxes that you can find on the net that makes all of the fucking cretin fundies (like you) shake in their boots?
Honestly, you Cretins are a bunch of retarded obnoxious douche-bags.
Not only is the claim of "giant bones" a bald-faced lie; actual human skeletons demonstrate that humans are larger today than EVER BEFORE. The "Biblical Giants" were, in all likelihood, 6-7 feet max. and I'm pretty sure no bones have been found that would even prove that modest maximum.
Jebus, if he existed at all, was a short guy with swarthy skin, by today's standards. Deal with that.
I don't suppose you would have that citation readily available, huh?
Yeah, that's what we thought.
The reason that higher oxygen levels allowed insects to grow bigger is that insects breathe through their body surface rather than with lungs, so more oxygen allows a higher volume:surface area ratio which corresponds to a larger size of insect. The limiting factor for giant humanoids is also the square-cube law, but in a different sense - too large and the surface area of the bones is insufficient to support its weight. More oxygen would not mean giant humanoids. Less gravity might.
Edit: and "scientifically proven"? No such thing.
BTW. Atmospheric conditions had little or nothing to do with ancient insects growing a bit larger than today's. The giant insects, particularly the big "dragonflies", just couldn't compete for those niches which are now filled by birds and other modern insectivores. Indeed, modern beetles and stick insects may be more massive than those old dragonflies.
Actually, outside of the sea, the higher oxygen level would only have benefitted the organisms that didn't use, or require, respiratory organs and absorbed oxygen directly through pores in their body - basically only arthropods such as insects.
Incidentally, this was several million years ago when plant life was extremely abundant while animals were not, not 4000-6000 years.
Google 'ancient giants' all you find is Christian bullshit or legends (such as the Titans of greek mytho,,FAITH)
Somewhere in that list you'll find scientific debunking of these fake giants
"scientifically and biblicaly proven"
Proofs are for math. Science is about evidence. So I'm not sure I'd say "scientifically proven", even if I were talking about something that wasn't completely ridiculous. Also, it's impossible for something to be "biblicaly (sic) proven", since something being written in someone's holy book doesn't make it true.
I used to live in Sweden's second largest city (an average-sized seaside town, by American standards) which had less oxygen than my summer-house on the rural west coast. When we arrived there first time each spring, we felt like someone had clubbed us the first day - we simply got too much oxygen and slept for almost a day.
Now I live in a fairly rural town near the east coast, and the difference in oxygen level is not nearly as marked.
Not that interesting, I know. But I do know that I didn't grow during those summers spent in the summer-house with more oxygen than normal.
sei-mizu, nobody cares about biblically proven things. It's just a book, stupid.
Otherwise apparition and traveling by flue powder have been Harry-Potter-ally proven.
Actually, the Harry Potter series makes more sense than the Bible. The allegory is better than the original...
Confused?
