Because if you can't find actual evidence, then make it to where lack of evidence proves their existence.

What about that video of Bigfoot walking in the woods that all the Bigfoot believers claim is evidence of his existence? Or do you admit that it was actually faked?
If you can raise a million dollars for my team to go out and search, I guarantee to DOUBLE the amount of evidence there is for Bigfoot. (same offer applies to all gods, devils, ghosts, and monsters).

Christ I HATE when people quote that line from Hamlet to justify their bullshit. It doesn't justify anything, it just says that Horatio is being a sane, rational person and Hamlet is being a paranoid, delusional, guilt-ridden bastard.
Bigfoot is in all probability an inter-dimensional creature that cannot be filmed in the same way as animals.
So Bigfoot are really Mi-Go ? Makes sense, for arbitrary values of sense.

In these modern times inter-dimensional creatures do have to contend with some extraordinary effects when they appear on the Earth plane. For instance, the presence of a camera within 30 or 40 feet of a bigfoot somehow causes the inter-dimensional interface to shake the camera and spoil the resulting film.
As time passes it's getting worse, the modern ubiquity of cameras all round the world has disrupted the inter-dimensional fields to such an extent that inter-dimensional creatures like bigfoot are becoming invisible and are therefore rarely seen now.
It is becoming obvious to my superiors, notably Colonel Indigo and General Dribble, that cameras and other recording devices have introduced a strange malaise into the universe of this plane of existence. A strange malaise that may cause everything to turn invisible. Specially aliens and UFOs.
