Now wait, marrying girls age 11 and younger is abomination? I don't know about that. It may not be adviseable, but it's not an abomination. Most Bible scholars will tell you that in the time of Jesus Christ, girls got married at quite an early age. Most of them will also tell you that Mary herself was not a lady of middle age or old age, but a very young girl. So abomination? No. Unwise? Yes.

who cares what age anyone is when they get married, children have sex with children and get preggo. kids going through puberty average is 10 or 11, kids that are forced to grow up are even more common placed. so who are we to judge when a kid is no longer a kid. experinces forms us, yes there are 30yo who should be classified as a child and 15 yo as adults. Most of us try to keep a child a child for as long as we can. it takes one boy to turn our baby girls to wemon and one girl to turn our boys to dads. yet when it happens we shield the kids from thier responsabiltity and take thier kids to raise. So no consequence are seen, i get knocked up mom and dad will rase it. Unwise yes, unheard of no, But we as a society educate our kids about sex at 4th grade. So make up your minds about when a kid is a kid but allow the thought that kids grow up at diffrents rates and some are more grown up than you think.

True, Mary was probably about fourteen or so, but that doesn't mean that fourteen-year-old girls today should get married.

So I guess you wouldn't mind fourteen-year-old boys getting married, either? What about Mary Kay Letourneau and her hot young lover? Yeah, I bet that was perfectly peachy. *sarcasm*

And these are the people who claim that homosexuality leads to pedophilia. Unbelievable.
