From what I recall reading, Mother Theresa was quite ghoulish, certainly not the saint that she was viewed as.
She laid a wreath on Enver Hoxha's grave, the Albanian dictator.
Accepted over 1 million from Charles Keating, he of the 1980s banking scandal & interceded on his behalf when he was finally busted. She never responded when she was informed that it was all stolen money. She also took money from Robert Maxwell, which was stolen from his employees pensions. He committed suicide rather than face Scotland Yard.
During the December 1971 war between India & Pakistan she implored rape victims not to abort their rape babies,including an 8 year old who's vagina was split open; she died from her injuries. Never condemned the aggressors or mentioned the survivors, or even the other dead victims.
Her "houses of the dying" were cheap, miserable affairs that almost never saw any of the money that was donated to the cause.
She stated that she wished to end her life in one of her own "houses", but finally kicked it in her private bedroom surrounded by modern cardiac machinery. This was after she had numerous operations, all of which were marvelous modern medical science, which she decried.
She was one of the biggest proponets of the "being poor is a blessing" nonsense. A greedy hypocrite of the highest order. She would fit right in with today's GOP.
