Obamanation and Pelosi are pledged to act to repeal the federal Defense of Marriage Act, which means that, in a nation run by unobstructed pro-sodomy Democrats, the Marriage Protection Amendment you added to the Kansas Constitution by your votes could be discarded by any leftist, activist pro-sodomy federal judge – and there would be a lot more of those judges. Kansas sodomites could demand that their mockery of marriage legalized in Massachusetts be recognized by Kansas state and local governments, with nothing then to stop them.
After that, they would soon be demanding the shuttering of adoption agencies, churches, and religious organizations that refuse to recognize such perversion as acceptable or admissible.
Is this what you think Kansas should be like?
Possibly, the one man who could stand in the way of such a federal homosexual agenda is – don’t hold your nose – Maverick John McCain.

Kansas, like most of the lower midwestern states, is loaded with wackos like this. If I had to live there, especially in a smaller town, I actually might go insane. The people really act like someone announced a $5 million prize for the biggest fundy, and they're trying their damnedest to win it.
As for your comments about McSame: He's about as much of a "maverick" as Dolly the sheep.
McCain's and Obama's positions on the issue are practically the same.
I hope I don't hear "Obamanation" for years to come. Yet another thoughtless bad association by name meme.
"Obama is all for Gay Rights cuz our nickname for him is a take-off of [what the Bible calls an] abomination. har har har."
Why is it that only left-leaning judges are termed "activist judges" but not right-leaning judges?
The government can't force your church to recognize any particular marriages unless it is denying employment or employment benefits because of them. You can still shun them in church and not allow them to volunteer as Sunday school teachers. Don't you fret none, parkay.
But oddly enough neither one has done sh*t to end Bush's fascist domestic spying apparatus...
But at least you're concerned with the most important issues on the table--I mean, who needs rights if teh gheys have to suffer through marriage like the rest of us.
The Defense of Marriage Act was passed in 1996 under Clinton, who last I heard was a Democrat. And when did McCain ever actually say he was going to oppose state's rights in legalizing gay marriage? So WTF is this guy talking about?
@papabear: if an "activist judge" is a judge who votes to overrule a duly-elected legislature's laws and substitutes the court's opinion, then the #1 "activist judge" is Clarence Thomas. But right-wingers only count "activism" as disagreeing with laws they like > activist judge stats
1) He's no more a maverick than you are an intelligent, open-minded, and thoughtful human being.
2) Recognizing the rights of a group of people is not the same as, nor does it lead to, the removal of rights from another group. Liberals think adoption is awesome. In fact, we federally fund it. Churches and religious organizations are federally protected and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Lying to make people fear someone and cast a vote against them is a sin. You have a long stay in Hell waiting for you. I suggest you make the most of the rest of your life.
Hey I want to get rid of this. America, you truly are a nation of nerds and jocks, but the jocks are ruining it for everyone. You must realize that all this religious conforming nonsense isn't helping anyone and is only creating more strife and separation, for no reason other than what it ultimately boils down to. It's nothing more than very primitive power hungry tribal behavior, you want to keep it simple, you don't want change, you're slowing everyone else the fuck down. Evolution is indeed the reality we live in for nothing is the same, ever, everything is in constant change and you refuse to keep up.
Peace !?!
P.S.: Sorry, for the rant, I'm baked...
Note to Obama:
Look, wackos like Parkay guarantee that you'll be blamed by Republicans for supporting marriage equality even if you stick to your current hetero-supremacist line -- but if you actually come out in favor of equality (which, remember, now has as much support as opposition nationwide), that improves your ability to claim to support positive "change."
On behalf of the state of Kansas, I'd like to thoroughly apologize for this display of dumbassery. We've got a Democratic governor, and at this point, we're just waiting for the Phelps clan to die.
Matter of time.
Oh, cry me a river, parkay. And "Obamanation?" How clever! *sarcasm* I guess I should be glad that it's a step up from "Obama/Osama."
@TSK: No need to apologize. The Phelps clan isn't just an abomination of Kansas, it's an abomination of our whole country. In fact, it's an abomination to the entire human race that these people are still alive and well to spew their venomous bile.
Wow -- now you know the feeling of dread we've lived with for 8 years.
Except none of your fears will actually take place, whereas your psychopath burned all our money and global standing to get some Iraqis killed and his rich friends richer.
Confused?
