The other day I was on my way home from work and I saw a couple of “FAGGOTS” holding signs in front of Harvest that said “Hypocrites repent”
Geuss what? It's their constitutionally protected right to do so. They also have a point, you, and by "you" I mean you personally, you are a hypocrite and your post goes to demonstrate your hypocrisy.
I turned around and was on my way to confront the “opposing view point” when another like minded individual beat me to it, the next thing I saw was a broken sign flying across the road, and a few “faggots” running like little girls to a slumber party
So it's OK for you and your homophobic friends to attack them and violate their rights to freedom of speech and freedom of assembly. But I wonder, if the same had happened to you then you would be bitching about your rights being violated and cry about being persecuted by the "gay agenda". But we all get your meaning, "The only people who have rights are those who agree with my viewpoints."
Sometimes a little violence goes a long way in preventing MORE problems later.
"MORE problems"? Like what? Like that gays might get recognized as people with full and equal rights under the law? Violence begets more violence, not the other way around.
We have been inundated with protests and destruction of property for voting to protect marriage
In cases of property destruction the offenders should be handled by the appropiate authorites, otherwise it is everybody's right to protest and seek redress of grievences as guranteed by the constitution.
WE the people are about to face yet another challenge to our will.
"WE the people" does not refer to the majority it refers to the whole body of the people, whether they agree with you or not. "Challenges" it your "will" are not disallowed in a free society, challenging artificial social boundries is how societies advance.
The “Faggot” community is extremely confident that they will win these law suits
They likely will, the original gay marriage ban was found unconstitutional and Prop 8 is just and arbitrary law imposed by the majority, and it in no way changes the unconstitutionality of arbitrary bans. You want to outlaw gay marriage in California then you are going to have to change the states constitution.
and IF that happens I am prepared to MARCH on Sacramento with ANY organization or movement
And it would be your right to do just that. So why is it you think it's ok to deny that same right to others?
This is a watershed moment. NOT for the “FAGGOTS”, but for the people of California and the Nation.
Sorry Bucko, but if you have been reading the headlines of the real news and not just World News Daily, or other fundie filtered sites then you would know that the nation is trending in the opposite direction than you.
WE THE PEOPLE Voted in favor of traditional marriage,
No, you didn't. You voted to specifically remove the right of marriage from a subset of the population, you didn't vote for anything, you voted to penalize people because they didn't adhere to your idea of sexuality.
We the people did not vote to remove “Same Sex Partnership” rights. You “faggots” still have the same rights as being married
So they have full health benefits that are traditionally available to spouses? They have the right to visit their partners in a hospital ICU that is usually only to clergy and direct family? Do they have access to survivours benefits? No, they don't, because those things are conferred by marriage, which you wish to deny them.
you are just denied the right to use the term “Marriage” to describe your “lifestyle choice”
Why? How does denying that right to gays benefit anyone? Don't give me that sanctamonius shit about protecting the "sacred bond of marriage" because unless you are trying to remove that right from every non christian then your opposition is just bigotry couched in psuedo-religious rhetoric. What difference is there between what you advocate and the "seperate but equal" policies of the south under Jim Crow laws?
The whole anti gay marriage movement isn't about "protecting traditional marriage", it's about making gays and lesbians into second class citizen by force of law, and I find it doubtful that they would stop at marriage, were they to win this fight then they would find something else they object to gays having the right to do and then lobby, whine, and bitch to have that taken from gays too, and it would never stop, not until they manage to make homosexuality illegal, and gays and lesbians into criminals for being who they are.
Cry me a river
If Prop 8 gets overturned then you'll cry your own river about how you are being "oppressed" and "persecuted" by the "evil satanic gay agenda" as you rail against the judiciary and complain how unfair it is for these people you don't like to have the same legal rights as you. With any luck your movement will drown in that river.
