What is our purpose and why form a militia in Idaho?

1. To protect Idaho's sovereignty. The only army that can claim to exclusively represent the people of Idaho are the Militia. All other armed contingents work for the government which in theory represents the people. But we all know theory falls well short of reality. We exist to forcefully repel any world government that does not abide by the constitutions of Idaho or the United States. Idaho will maintain its sovereignty as long as its people will to do so.

2. To resist tyranny. It is our fervent hope that our government will never again turn against the people like it did at Ruby Ridge. The Militia, like the People of Idaho, will endeavor to cooperate with our government as much as possible. But if any agency of government ever again engages the People of Idaho with murderous aggression, the Militia will respond with force in kind. The Militia will not be swift to violence, but if anyone is unwilling, when liberty is jeopardized by unlawful government, to offer resistence in defense of Idahoans then they should not consider joining our ranks. The Militia does not bear the sword in vain.

3. To aid in secession. If the People of Idaho (we hope) someday see the wisdom of segregation from the United States, the Militia will be on the front lines as the chief instrument for effecting secession and defending Idaho against federal attempts to re-establish dominion. We believe that Idaho is distinct from the rest of the United States and wants nothing to do with the NWO. The Militia exists to give the People of Idaho the ability to consider secession, whereas if no organized resistance force existed, the People would despair of such a possibility. Those who serve in the Militia serve under the flag of Idaho above all other allegiences.
