"I can't prove that God is real from a very scientific point of view."
I'm shocked. Shocked I say!
"But let me share a very well known and widely used, I don't know, theory?"
Nooo, not "theory." What you have is religious bullshit you pass off to those who don't know any better and never stop to think about what you're saying.
"maybe that is used by many Christians to prove the genuinity of God."
Go for it.
"Think of the wind."
Oh, god. Not this fucking allegory.
"You can't see it, you don't know where it comes from, you can really touch it, but you know it there."
I can't see the wind itself but I can see evidence of it's existence, I can directly interact with it and I actually do know why the wind blows and so could you with a two second Google search or an elementary school science book.
"Why? Because you can feel the effects of it, you can see the results of it, such as a hurricane."
Yeah, that's that evidence that it exists that I was talking about. Got anything like that for your god? No? Thought not.
"Even though you can't see it, you can't disprove that its not there since you can feel it. Same with God."
No, not the "same with god." I've never felt god or experienced any deity in any way at all.
"You can't see God. Can't touch Him, can't talk to Him face to face, etc. But I know He's there because I can feel Him."
This is called subjective evidence. It's also called anecdotal evidence. Neither is good for much of anything but deluding yourself or convincing other believers.
"I can't help to believe. I can feel Him in my heart, I can see His works and what He does through, by, and for ppl."
Odd. I don't see any evidence of a god. How do you know what you're observing is your god and not some other god?
"I can see Him through His creation."
You haven't looked very closely then, have you? Most of nature is incredibly brutal, short, painful and just not much fun as far as an existence goes. Get out more if you think "his creation" is so wonderful.
"When I'm alone in my room feeling utterly helpless and no ones with me, I can feel Him."
Again, how do you know it's god and not another god or your own psyche/subconscious attempting to rationalize and make sense of your circumstances?
"He gives me peace and reassurance. I can't argue with that. Nor can I prove it with science."
If you can't prove it then why believe it?
"Talking about the LOTR. Tolkien says that its fiction. Thats the difference the Bible says its the all Truth."
So if Tolkien wrote that it was all absolutely true that would make it so? I'm confused...
