As adult Christians, LOTR, HP etc will have little affect on us, but to little kids its TERRIBLE. Satan has desensitized our culture. He has made it so we allow our children to read HP books. Satan loves to get us doubting Gods infallible Word. Satan loves to get us adults thinking these movies are ok, so we let our children watch it... Can you imagine what Jesus would have said to one of the apostles if they had said, 'Hey Jesus, you should go watch this magician at the Jerusalem 8 Cinema, and bring along some children, this guy is a good magician. He wears a white robe'.

There are movies about HP Sauce? Why hasn't anyone told me?

I know one good effect the Harry Potter books have had. Two Swedish 9-year-old boys were so eager to know more after they've read all the translated books, that they stumbled through the next book in English.

Small children should not see the Potter movies. They kind of follow the age of Potter; the first one is suitable for 11-year-olds, the next for 12-year-olds, and so on and so forth. Sure, if the children are more mature than average, they might understand and appreciate it at a somewhat earlier age.

Making a paralyzed person walk, or bringing someone back from the dead IS magic, stupid.

Then feel free to not read them. But you have no place telling others what they can and can't allow

So satan created facts and found other reasons for people to doubt god's word? Does that mean satan actually wrote it because it itself is why I doubt it

No because cinemas didn't exist in his time.
Though to be fair he might not be as closed minded as you and might have seen fit to go to try to get people to join his cause.

If satan loves casting doubt in god's word, he must have written the bible.
