pro aborts don't say a peep about mens' rights with reproductiveness. They know if that men get the same rights as they do, they can't abort to go sleep around again. That's why they exclude men from these rights, because they only care about his money and his dick, nothing else. Who cares if the kid might not be his anyways? He wants to help! LOL nope let's kill it because fuck responsibility and mens' rights

Actually, as a pro-choice voter, I am very concerned with mens rights. If a man wants nothing to do with a pregnancy, he should be allowed to give up all rights and responsibilities. That means all parental rights until the child is eighteen, with no recourse to regain them. In divorce cases neither the male nor female partner should be considered the 'better' parent without scrutinizing them both to the fullest.
The flip side, if he wants the child but he doesn't, then come up with a way to transplant the fetus into his body so he can give birth. Until then, it's her ultimate right to choose.
@Musicalbookworm Well.. mostly it was rich men who owned other people in history (not necessarily white, but always rich). They just convinced the poor men that they could own their wives and that it was the same thing. Like how republicans think corporations work for them in order to keep them as customers when in reality they vote against their best interests by supporting their ability to take money from their back pocket while fucking them over.
"Help"? When you invest nine months plus eighteen years in the project rather than the five minutes you spent, you can make some claims, OK?
On the other hand, given the crudeness of the language coupled with the correct use of apostrophes, this is probably a Poe.
Sure, we see that all the time, men going crazy trying to prevent women from getting abortions and eager to care for some other guy's kid. No state has an agency dedicated to collecting child support.
Let's make those rights proportionate to the time each person puts into the pregnancy.
Average pregnancy lasts 40 weeks... or 403,200 minutes.
Average time for man to provide his genetic material.... 2 minutes.
The man's rights are about .0005% of the total.
This one is annoyingly incoherent. But I saw it was on Tumblr then reminded myself that there was no reason to be surprised.
and as I think I've said so before I'm with Stonespiral. Men should be allowed to opt out of supporting a child anywhere within (amount of time its legal for a woman to abort -2 weeks) of the time they're made aware of the child. Though this is irrevokable the same way that women can't exactly undo an abortion.
With the cave eat that any state riddled with trap laws and other impediments are places where men have as much access to this right as women have to abortion.
Men do have the same reproductive rights as women. A man has the right to end a pregnancy sustained by his body just as much as a woman does.
People misunderstand the rights women and men have when it comes to pregnancy and the role government plays in allowing it. Women have a right to end their pregnancy because it falls under the category of medical privacy/bodily autonomy.
Whether or not men can give up all rights/responsibilities to a child is a completely different issue that has nothing to do with abortion because it has nothing to due to medical privacy/bodily autonomy. The government has a vested interest in making sure a child's expenses are covered by as many people as possible who are not the government. After a child is born, the mother and father are still equal because neither can just give up their rights/responsibilities without the other being able to come after them for child support or someone else taking on those expenses via adoption.
Now I do believe the man has some say before an abortion. That it should be an issue that should be discussed in length and not taken wisely. Why do these peke believe the man always wants to have their child? Where are many cases when they actually push the abortion.
Now in cases of a one night stand, or a rape the man has no say at all in the child.
A man's required involvement in conception & birth lasts about 5 seconds. A woman's required involvement is a lot longer. As a result, we (as in men) don't get to claim our rights should be equal. We're not having our bodies hijacked for 9 months, after all.

There's an extremely good reason why the "Alien" films have an underlying theme: Male Fear Of Pregnancy .
A kind of 'Vagina Dentata' if you will: in reverse .
...but if you have some kind of subconscious 'Womb Envy', adopt some kids then.
(*Crickets chirp *)
...thought not.
Let's face it: if we men could become pregnant, there would be abortion facilities in all DIY stores.
My one caveat on the idea of men giving up rights and responsibilities: They should have to sign something saying that they either have, or would have if it was sooner, asked the woman to have an abortion. And she has the right to publicize it same as he had the right to say she had one.
Otherwise men would revoke parental responsibility knowing the woman will raise the child, while opposing abortion on moral or religious grounds. You want to not be a dad, fine, but you don't get out of it without legally declaring your support for abortion.
Even better - make them donate the equivalent value of the cost of an abortion to an organization that provides them, so there is zero question that only those who are okay with abortion can use that out.
Confused?
