Yes evolution is a theory. However it is also a fact. It is a FACT that populations change over time and that's what evolution is. The THEORY of evolution explains the mechanisms by which this occurs.
Creationism is not a theory in the scientific sense, it is a load of bullshit poorly disguised as a theory.

How wonderful. Yet another person confusing a theory with a scientific theory. While a theory is a guess thrown together to match evidence, a scientific theory is one that has conclusively been tested, and never contradicted. It is called a theory as opposed to a fact for the sole reason that there might possibly be another explanation. For all intents and purposes, the theory of evolution is a theory just like the theory of gravity.
What are you gonna do? Publish your peer-reviewed article that disproves evolution and win a nobel prize?
