Actually Hitler had about 3 police forces in the SA, SS and original government police forces. The Gestapo were more about fear than actual arrests.

Subsidized farming, expanded aged pensions, abolished unemployment benefits and achieved full employment (in the economic sense of the term). Does this mean they were bad too? No, it means that the bad things Hitler did made him a bad person, not that Hitler was a bad person therefore any act he performed was also bad.

Nazi Germany had A MILITARY!
Nazi Germany had PEOPLE PATRIOTIC ABOUT THEIR COUNTRY!
Nazi Germany had AN ELECTED LEADER!
Nazi Germany had a police force!
Nazi Germany had A BAN ON ABORTIONS!
What you need to make a point about parallels are parallels with the uniquely bad concepts of Nazi Germany such as:
- Systemic persecution of Jews, Gypsies, Gays, Jehovahs Witnesses, Communists, Slavics and political opponents.
- Systemic extermination of those with perceived genetic defects such as the disabled, mentally disabled, Jews, Gypsies and all non-germanic races.
- A totalitarian regime under 1 charismatic leader with an amazing approval rating in a 1 party state where unions and political lobbies are illegal.
- An obsession with militarism and the superiority of their own country and the racial purity of its people.
- A government structure where every duty would have a govt agency and a party agency to cover it. E.g. the Police and the SA.

Right now I'm hearing alot of yelling and screaming in America about how badly he's going due to right wing partisan efforts to frustrate his policy at every turn. I'm hearing a lot of rational and irrational criticism of this man and some rational praise, especially internationally.

What everybody loves now are all these great ideas: His healthcare plan, speaking as an Aussie who knows how it's gonna turn out, is nothing short of great, he's looked to nations with successful healthcare and adapted their methods to his own country. Or that thing where he wants American soldiers to stop being killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, yet still cares for the people of those countries.
