And I'm pretty sure that, if I were a parent, and my kid had appeared to be a normal, loving person up until the murder incident, I would oppose their execution (perhaps unless they did something unbelievably heinous)... It's called "unconditional love", it's one of those things that parents are generally supposed to have. But here, it sounds like you'd let your kid get executed at the drop of a hat. Why do you have kids? Seriously?

The funny thing is that, in the Bible, King David tries to cover up his eldest son when he rapes his step sister and another one who is homosexual. Which means that, most probably, you´d do the same. Let alone if one of your cronies is caught up in adultery(like John MacCaine, for example)
