So we see, we can blame this whole sordid mess on Democratic policies. If the Democrats would free the New York City housing market and allow developers to build more apartments to meet the demand, girls like Ashley, from non-wealthy families, would be able to afford to live in Manhattan without having to resort to prostitution.
But I guess if Democratic politicians instituted housing reform, they would have no one to pay for sex, so this explains why the Democrats have enacted these anti-free market policies.
Republicans are pro-free market because they have higher moral values and don't pay for sex.
It was for reasons of free market housing that I endorsed John Faso for governor and not Eliot Spitzer.

You seriously... SERIOUSLY believe that affordable housing will get rid of prostitution?
Okay, try to think about this... real hard...
Prostitution will never, EVER go away. There is always a demand for it, and there will always be people who are willing to do it.
There are plenty of factors that could contribute to why someone would become a prostitute: social, mental, emotional, criminal, financial etc., but affordable housing would not eradicate the problem.
He kinda has a point about the housing - I like the idea of freeing up the housing market - to a certain level, it would be beneficial to those who have legal jobs but are on a low income - but the rest is pure naivety.

S/h/it also seems to believe that "the free market" will produce more affordable housing, and that promoting "the free market" is a sign of deep and abiding morality (and not, y'know, indicative that one thinks one can enrich oneself on others' labor by redefining it as one's own).
And where do you propose building more apartment buildings in New York City?
And of course, blame it on the Democrats because hell, no one is responsible for the decisions they make.
This can't be a real human being.
That's right...Republicans have high moral values...oh...I can't say that with a straight face!
I'm sure no Republican has ever paid for sex, in the history of the world, and it's those filthy liberal commies what's making all those women rent their dirty bits for the cash money. And we all know that Republicans are incredibly adept at bringing an economy up to speed...one need only look as far as George Bush I and II to see that obvious truth.
You're entitled to your opinions and all...but that doesn't stop them from sucking.
Yeah. All we have to do is let free market reign. Then you can get a one bedroom apartment below 100th st. in Manhattan for $400 a month, Broadway tickets for $65, a martini for $4.00 and a taxi ride anywhere for $8.00! Yeah. Right. This in a city where people pay $60 just to buy a black-market Friday night reservation at Babbo.
Yeah really, I'm sick of seeing these poor girls forced to prostitution to pay for their luxury manhattan apartments. We need some kind of cheap housing projects, you never see hookers around the projects, it's always those expensive areas.
She could've just done what I did and found cheaper housing in the outer boroughs. Those darn Democrats are turning girls from NJ who won't settle for anywhere outside of Manhattan into whores!
Darn those darn Democrats. Darn 'em.
"Republicans are pro-free market because they have higher moral values"
To quote Jarvis Cocker: "It's the ideal way to order the world: fuck the morals, does it make any money?"
And I thought Republican's just paid for sex with gay prostitutes, so do they not count according to you then? or are they just not "True Republican's"?
But I guess if Democratic politicians instituted housing reform, they would have no one to pay for sex, so this explains why the Democrats have enacted these anti-free market policies.

Yeah, because no Republican has ever been caught in a toilet stall, pants around the ankles with a rent boy have they?
Seriously though, what choice do you have when one party is just as bad as the other one?
"Republicans are pro-free market because they have higher moral values and don't pay for sex."
That's correct. We pay for the crystal Meth, but the anal sex is gratis .
And haven't you thought that the problem is that those girls go into prostitution BECAUSE THEY BARELY AFFORD A HOUSE AND A DECENT LIVING, not just in Lexington, let alone Manhattan?. Those houses have to be paid, both by the Ashleys of life and their constructors. Or do you think that they're going to give them away from free, that the only obstacle is a bureaucratic procedure? It would be easier if she had healthcare and welfare that democrats provided but, of course, you think that the problem is that the problem lies on quantity not in money.
Asiding from the fact that this dimbulb thinks affordable housing will rid the world of prostitution...
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!
Free market will LOWER housing costs?! Let me tell you the story of a city called Calgary. We had relatively affordable housing...up until recently. Oil prices spiked, so people flocked here from across the country. Demand for housing skyrocketed. Now you can't get a run down shack NEAR downtown for under $250,000. Apartments run a median of $7-800 for a Bachelor. All because there is no market control.
Republicans are pro-free market because they have higher moral values and don't pay for sex.
Well, why pay if there are freebies to be had in airport toilets, or a steady supply of Congressional aides?
Fucking douchebag.
you do realize that the call girl involved in the incident Spitzer was busted over had a $5,000/ month apartment, right? I'm not thoroughly convinced that affordable housing was even on the radar as far as her problems are concerned.
Ok, and how are they going to pay the rent, the water, the electricity.......................?. Is the fault of the Democrats as well?
Last time I checked, most Republicans support intellectual monopoly, occupational licensing, the Fed, subsidies, and war profiteering, so not exactly "free market".
Confused?
