Hovinds 10 yr sentence is patently unjust and an effort to silence the truth of the Bible. Hovind has revealed and exposed the lies the evolution theory continues to teach in our schools text books today which is the worse crime ever.

...worse crime ever.
Not quite correct spelling.
Hovinds 10 yr sentence...
Not quite correct punctuation.
Okay, the capitalization is right.
And his sentence had nothing to do with evolution or creationism. He was jailed for not following the Biblical command to "render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's," ie for tax fraud.

ow, btw, Kent 'Fucktard' Hovind is entertaining the blokes in cellblock D because he tried to screw Uncle Sam out of his tax dollars.
Yes. Teaching the heliocentric theory/ theory of gravity/ germ theory of disease is a grievous "crime", and all that, but unfortunately, there are no laws against it. Tax fraud...actually illegal. Hence, 10 year sentence.
It isn't persecution. Hovind is too stupid for anyone to bother persecuting.
I have only recently heard of Kent Hovind, by coming to this site, but I think if someone had really managed to disprove the theory of evolution once and for all, it would have been on the news.
I can't think of anyone (outside of LoneWolf1984, Carico, AV1611VET...) who fails harder than Kent Hovind when it comes to science.
The man is either a consummate liar for Jesus, or one of the dumbest individuals on this planet.
Bloody fuck all, Hovind broke the goddamn law, several of them in fact, and how is locking up a tax cheat, and con man an effort to silence the bible, it's not like he was the only person spouting that same bullshit.
The man was a criminal who not only refused to render unto cæser, but on who also endangered the fiscal welfare of every single one of his employee's by not paying their income taxes, thus opening them up to massive fines and possible tax evasion charges themselves.
Worse than a phony born-again president who lies to his country in order to start a war on behalf of large oil companies that were still pissed after 30+ years over Iraq nationalizing its oil industry?
How many people (yours and theirs) have died in that fucking country as a result of that war? How many people have died from reading "The Origin of Species"?

Two quotes, writes itself.
No, Hovind didn't pay his taxes. Given his utter lack of understanding involving science and math, I'm not surprised. Maybe the forms scared him. But from that, he disobeyed a court ruling, subtly threatened the judge, blocked attempts to scrutinize his finances, and then claimed all the money belonged to "God". His own employees stated how he claimed multiple times to have beaten Uncle Sam at the tax game. So his punishment should have been longer, in my book.
Confused?
