LOOK: Naturalistic science had already labeled humans as animals, why not ask every human if they really evolve or created or not? If both nature and species (except humans) can't talk, why bother to make them as standard in changes of species?! HUMANS can talk, can express themselves...then, ask them. If they all say that they had evolved from lower forms of animals, then, it is natural that humans are the product of evolution process! Then, Evolution is really natural.

...so we are created by a god because we can talk?
Dolphins talk, whales talk (in many dialects, I might add), hell, even cephalopods can "talk" through the patterns and colors they display on their skin. Just because we can understand each other doesn't give us the sole gift of communication in the animal kingdom.
That's not even getting into the fact that he's suggesting using popular opinion as scientific fact.
I you are alive, you are an animal. Full stop. Period. Over. No debate required. You do not need to breathe to be an animal (jellyfish), all you need to do is be alive (and not photosythesise). The negative connotations associated with the term are entirely arbitrary, and not based on either philosophy, or science.
Therefore, scientists are suggesting that we obtain our energy (which we need because we grow, move and are alive) from a source other than the sun. Oh noes! Corrupting everyone, science is.
For the rest. W. T. F.
Furthermore, Bible disagrees with point: only humans can talk. Snakes, and many other lower beasts are supposed to be able to. So that shot your rant down even further.
The validity of a concept is not determined by its popularity but, since you asked, I'll vote with the majority of intelligent humans: YES, I evolved from lower life forms.
Don't criticise the guy's (?) English too much - it's his third langauge.
He claims scientific training - but will not list qualifications/credentials as others have done in that IIDB thread.
Just how much scientific training do you need to be captain of the shopping trolleys in a WalMart parking lot?
Can I get that in English, please?
Request seconded.
@Lt. Fred: technically you're forgetting fungi. That said I've seen slime molds give more useful/correct information than samurai (of course, it's usually real simple information, along the lines of "that food is to old to eat" or "your bathroom really needs a good cleaning", but...)
Animals can't talk Tell that to my cat. When she wanted in, I could tell that kind of meowing from "I want attention!" meowing.
We are translating dog speech in Japan I think, therefore Dog is just another language, such as...oh say English.
Merely because other animals don't speak in a language recognisable to humans does not mean that they cannot speak or communicate with one another. Dolphins are a classic example, although by no means the only one.
Furthermore, the simple fact that people speak (for example) English is not remotely any kind of proof that what they say is always true. After all, you speak English and you have just posted a pile of complete bollocks.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
