This is an absolutely terrible film and what is worse it is sheer naked anti-Germanic propaganda. The Saxon chieftain is made out to be a racist-it would seem that only white people are racist and moreover Teutons especially. Words are put into the mouth of the chieftain warning against "race-mixing" and orders given to slaughter the British women. It should be noted that the director is black. Maybe this `coloured` his perception of the Anglo-Saxons.
