“Wrong.”
Do you have any actual evidence they’re wrong, or just arrogance?
“YOU may be related to an ape, but I am not.”
But we’re all descendants of Eve, right? ‘Mother Of All’ and all that? So You and I are related. And If I’m related to an ape, then bubbles, so are you.
Also, by taxonomy, you AM an ape. Your parents are apes, your great-great-great grandfathers are apes.
Thing is, I can face this fact because I do not add unwarranted connotations to the word.
"I am a human,”
Never said you weren’t.
“specially created by God with a soul,”
Sure. he just used a few million years and generations to produce you.
“created for His purpose with life breathed into me by Him.”
None of which precludes evolutionary theory.
“If you want to think of yourself as a pathetic ape,”
And now we see the unwarranted connotations you add.
“ go ahead. And when your children act like animals,”
Dude, humans ARE animals. EVERYTHING HUMANS DO is ‘like animals.’ Including flying a plane, solving trigonometry, postulating theories, and praying to invisible skybuddies. Like animals.
“do not disciplin them because it is what YOU told them they are.”
You know, many times in my life I’ve had to tell a dog or a cat that they’re not people, they aren’t actually allowed on the dining room table. Them being ‘animals’ does not mean i’m prevented from disciplining them. I’ve also disciplined my kids because while they are animals, they are animals subject to rules. Unlike your rather binary fantasy about the absolute distance between people and animals.
You’re just so wrong.
“They only are following YOUR instructions.”
Yes, they are, thank you.
Among other things, they understand that LABELING them as animals is NOT AN INSTRUCTION. Your problems are many, all stemming from a rather arrogant use of the term ‘human.’
