Grade school textbooks teach evolution as fact.
That's probably because it is a fact. The fact of evolution is that it happens, the theory of evolution is what describes the mechanism by which evolution happens.
It is a monstrous lie that harms our children.
And what is telling children that an angry, vengeful Magic Man did it and that dinosaur bones and other fossils are the result of the aforementioned Magic Man deciding to wipe out the entire world population in a fit of pique? Is that not a monstrous lie?
Why is it that you feel you have to brainwash them with this entirely implausible story when they are young? Is it possibly because If you let them get a liitle older then the see right through your lies and see your mythology for just what it is?
The evolution theory says we evolved from the original Big Bang and later crawled out of a green slime from the ocean.
No, it doesn't. I am also of the belief that you know that is not what evolutionary theory claims, but you feel the need to lie about it. What I'm not sure about is if you are willfully lying in hopes of catching some kid early, before they get too knowledgeable about science, or if your just lying to yourself in a desperate attempt to hang on to an belief that you know is bullshit. Which is it?
Of all the mysteries surrounding evolution, the one that is most baffling to the evolutionists, is "water." Where did all the oceans come from?
That's not a question for evolution it's a question for geology and astrophysics, and one that they have a fairly satisfactory answer to. It's not so "baffling" when you know what the fuck you are talking about.
As explained on the National Geographic program, it came from a massive collision in space. As the Earth was cooling from the Big Bang, it was approached by a stray planet that was teeming with water. It collided with Earth, spilled its water onto the Earth, then careened off into space.
First let me correct some facts.
1. The earth was not formed during the Big Bang, and there is not a single credible geologist of astrophysist who claims that it did.
2. There are no credible scientist in the relavent field who claim that that is how the earth got it's water.
i also highly doubt that you saw a NG program that claimed that at any time in the past 20-25 years. The prevailing theory is that most of the water on the planet came from cometary impacts with the Main Belt comets from the asteroid belt between mars and jupiter. The reason for that theory is because the chemical composition of the ice for those comets is the same as the chemical composition as the water found on earth, whereas the comets found further out in the solar system tend to be made up of H2O2 "heavy water" ice containing a larger ratio of deuterium to hydrogen.
I find it more likely that you halfassedly watch a program about the Giant Impact theory for the creation of earth's moon and then invented the sad little story that you outlined above.
Talk about fairy tales. By the way, where did the stray planet get its water?
Seeing as how you are the only person who seems to seriously think there is a stray water planet, it doesn't really matter, does it?
Come on evolutionists, surely you can develop a more plausible explanation that can be easier to swallow.
No one is claiming that but you. You can say that's what we believe, but it isn't. You know that, and anyone who has given even a cursory glance to evolutionary theory know's that.
Until then, I accept the Bible's answer. After all, the 4,000-year-old book has a perfect track record.
Oh yes, with it's cud chewing rabbits, four legged insects, feathered bats, and it's "Hey, look at that" idea of animal husbandry.
Have you actually read the bible? Not just picked up pieces from whatever fundie forums you frequent, or bits from this or that preacher, but actually read the damn thing? I have, so I can say while good authority that you are full of shit.
The evolution theory is only 140 years old
So? The amount of time a theory has been around has absolutely fuck all to do with that theory's veracity. Atomic theory has barely been around a hundred years but that doesn't make atomic bombs any less efficient.
And for your information the idea of evolution was around long before Darwin, it's just that Darwin was the person who explained the mechanism of how evolution acted upon life. Not that I expect that level of understanding from someone who wishes to remain willfully ignorant of reality in favor of an old book of legends and fairy tales.
