African-Americans also clearly rejected fiscal conservatism in 2012. They voted overwhelmingly for Obama and turned out in large numbers because many felt that a Republican victory would cut off the supply of government goodies. They do not care that government welfare destroyed the African American family and thus condemned and still condemns many of their youth to perpetual unemployment and prison. They are addicted to government largesse and view the government as their lord, provider, and saviour. Clearly, continuing the government largesse is more important to black Christians than supporting the Biblical concepts of marriage, the family, and opposing infanticide and abortion – even when the abortion of black babies has reached the level of genocide.

"They do not care that government welfare destroyed the African American family "
No, it didn't. You just hate that your tax money prevents people starving because you're a fucking sociopath.
I see the lie of "blacks only voted for Obama because he's giving them free handouts" is not going to die any time soon. It's this mistaken idea which cost Mitt the election but now is apparently being spread around conservative circles as fact.
Ever think that the reason minorities rarely vote Republican is because the party offers absolutely nothing to them?
@#1479995
Piss off, racist.
@Doubting Thomas
I, for one, (as a minority, the very minority this fool has chosen to denigrate) can see right through the dog-whistling of the conservatives. Armed with that knowledge, the choice is clear.
And I also see that kipling is dismayed that those whose minds are still enslaved by religion were not enough to project an effective illusion that Republicans weren't vehemently against minorities.
(P.S.: WTF is wrong with #1479995? Is his language program bugged?)
@Doubting Thomas:
That lie is based on a belief that's been around for a long time. The John Birch Society was printing it in their publications back in the 1950's. They used it as justification for their racism. "Oh, no," they said, "We don't hate black and brown people because of their skin color. We simply don't approve of them living off of government programs paid for by honest, hard-working white people."
@Rabbit of Caerbannog
It's no use arguing with #1479995, I believe it's not even a person, due to how fast he comments on every new post. The text he posts is the link to the original posting run through http://www.gizoogle.net/
It doesn't take much to make an automated script to scan the link to the orignial fundie post, send a request to the website I posted, read the response text and post it here.
I swear, I feel like I heard something like this post when reading my History book, you know in the lines of "Black people should not be given any rights because they're too stupid to use them correctly"
Maybe not...
"They voted overwhelmingly for Obama and turned out in large numbers because many felt that a Republican victory would cut off the supply of government goodies."
The republic partys bedsheet boy base might have something to do with it too.
You know conservatives, if African-Americans are such a significant voting block now, maybe it would be wise to, you know, earn their respect rather than portraying them as lazy, baby-killing moochers.
I didn't vote for Obama because "a Republican victory would cut off the supply of government goodies", or because of similarities in race. I voted for him (twice) because he's not a homophobic, misogynistic, pro-war, apathetic ass-wipe, who believes that nearly half the nation is a bunch of moochers.
Just admit it: You hate the fact that there is a black man in the White House, and there isn't a thing you can do about it.
If I remember it correctly, 93% of African-Americans voted for Obama that day, but only 25% are on welfare. Tell me what's going on with these 68% of African-Americans that have a job, pay taxes and still didn't vote for your guy?
government welfare destroyed the African American family
Come on, get off that fence, say what you really want to say!
It was The Emancipation Proclamation that destroyed the African American family, right?
Emancipation took the niggies out of the security of White protection and caring, right? Slavery had them lazy darkies working, right? Without a master with a whip they just lie around waiting for handouts, right?
Come on, that's what you really mean, isn't it?
Translation: Why didn't more blacks vote for us? After everything we've done for them, like, um, er... WHY DIDN'T THEY VOTE FOR US!? WHY???
@1479995
Protip: Jokes do not get funnier with repetition, especially ones that did not elicit laughs even the first time around.
Pssstttt....Blacks voted for Obama because we're tired of hearing insanely racist shit like this.
I'm a college educated African-American with a salaried corporate job that pays more than the national household median, and am in a happy marriage, and have a joint household income in the six figures. Obviously, I voted for Obama so that I can get handouts...that I don't get. Yeah, I want to get "free stuff", not because the GOP fiscal policies are economically unsound, not because the modern GOP is saturated with authoritarians and dominionists who want to drag this country kicking and screaming into a halcyon past that never even existed. Not because such a large vocal portion of the Republican constituent routinely say shit like this. Nope, I just want welfare, even though I don't even qualify for it by any stretch of the imagination. It's my fondest dream to drop my upper middle class lifestyle to live on a few hundred dollars a month.
Actually, it had far more to do with the fact that the GOP has been seized by lunatics, bigots, and religious zealots and they nominated the most brazen liar in the history of presidential elections. This nominee then compounded it by selecting a guy who wants to end Social Security, and Medicare along with every other government program besides the military and pay and pensions for GOoPers, as his running mate. This would really, really piss me off because I paid in for around 50 years and, since I committed the cardinal sin of getting sick before official retirement age and had to spend everything I ever earned, I depend on those programs in order to survive and spend money that boosts the economy. The near certainty that Mittens would have bungled and lied us into more hopeless military actions was just the icing on the cake.
BTW. You can take your faux concern for black people, fold it four ways, light it on fire and ram it up your southern orifice. You do realize that the cult your boy calls his own held the official, doctrinal, position that the only way a non white person could go to Heaven is as a slave? Don't you? Nah. You don't know anything about anything. Heck! You don't even know that the Mormons settled in the middle of the desert because they were virtually at war with the U.S. over the issue of marrying a whole bunch of children.
They voted overwhelmingly for Obama because they felt that the Conservative party was only going to help the richest of the rich, and a large proportion of the African-Americans are not among the richest of the rich.
Government welfare HELP their families to survive, how is that destroying the family? Societal prejudices condems many of their youth to perpetual unemployment and prison, not welfare. They view the goverment as something decided by We the People, and designed to serve the MAJORITY of the people.
Abortions happen to embryos and fetuses, not babies, and they usually happen with the consent of the mother. Or do you have citations for thousands of women who are kidnapped and forced into abortion clinics?
Confused?
