I have a theory. First, I'll mention that there exists a theory (posed by 2 mathematicians who analyzed statistical data) that suggests that homosexuality is caused by a virus, to which a fetus is exposed in the mother's body. My theory is that liberalism is also caused by a virus, and the two viruses are linked. I am saying this because liberalism is suicidal. A group of biologically healthy organisms would not espouse an ideology that leads to their demise. It is unnatural and sick, in a literal sense. I have also noticed that there are very few liberal Jews among those who came from the former USSR. This would be consistent with the virus theory, becauses viruses are spread geographically.

Liberalism is an ideology, not an innate trait. If you kept the answers secret, I bet there are just as many homosexual Liberals as there are homosexual Socialists, Environmentalists, and Conservatives. So no, homosexuality is not linked to Liberalism. If the answers were open, they would be about equal, with the exception of the Conservatives that would probably drop significantly.
In what way is Liberalism suicidal? Liberal countries seem more prosperous in general, than conservative countries. Conservatives want to live in the past, Liberals want to explore new things, promote equality for all. Ideology has very little to do with biology.

Well, getting your information about biology from mathematicians isn't quite as stupid as getting it from lawyers or Kent Hovind, so I guess that's some progress.

Why couldn't it be there's a conservative virus and liberals are just immune to it, like poison ivy? That would explain why there aren't more liberals from the former USSR: because living under a totalitarian regime, there was no survival advantage to having immunity - kind of like why less white people have the sickle-cell trait because their ancestors weren't as exposed to malaria.

People who belong to oppressed minorities in totalitarian systems tend to crave securit, especially when most of their number had already been wiped out by Hitler and Stalin. Nothing strange about that.
On the other hand, if viruses are spread geographically, what about African-Americans, Asian-Americans and Hispanics? China, Nigeria, and Honduras, just to give three examples, are not particularly liberal places. Shouldn't liberalism be more prevalent there than less? And what about Jews who aren't from the USSR?
Jokes aside - far aside here - this is an example of turning people you dislike into a "disease." Essentially, his argument is his opponents are sick means that A) they can't be trusted, B) they are in a way de-humanized, C) he doesn't have to make any actual arguments for his positions.

Viruses can neither be cultured in a normal sense at all. They need to be injected into certain types of cells for them to do anything.
What they do is then watched.

Additionally, why would mathematicians have the training and ability to determine whether something was caused by a viral infection? Just because you use 'mathematician' in a sentence Masha, doesn't make your 'theory' sound any more plausible.

My theory is that conservatism and child molesting are linked because so many people who are one are also the other.
Your theory is bigoted and very, very wrong minded. A community, be it a nation, a city, state, or just one family, thrives better when all members are able to contribute to their full potential. The Republican outlook "I got mine. You get your's" is what lead to the current crisis in this country. Failure to properly feed and educate all citizens is putting us behind the rest of the world. It is shameful. It is disgraceful. It is leading us into ruin.
